The room was very nice, clean, and with a very convenient location. Staff was nice in explaining how everything worked with access to the property. It is important to note check in is not in the same place as the property, so you will need to walk after check in to the property. It's a short walk, and not a big deal, but just have this in mind it that's an issue for you. Other than that, it is really a very good place to stay. The bed was comfortable, had a nice little balcony, a small safe, and there was free coffee. Would stay again.

Very excellent B&B. The location is basically unbeatable, the breakfast was amazing-although served in a different building 200m away. There was an elevator, which worked almost the whole time. I absolutely recommend, and I will absolutely stay again.

This property is located in the center part of Firenze, within 5-10 minutes walk to most attraction sites you want to visit in town. The room is in good condition and clean. Something I dislike about this place: (1) check in/out location isn’t the same as the BnB, I had a taxi dropped me off outside the BnB but only found out you have to walk to another hotel to check in and come back to the BnB with my suitcase back and forth (this can be tiring and troublesome for some people); (2) the breakfast is not complimentary. Before my arrival, I received a welcome message from the property manager also mentioned the breakfast will be served at the 7th floor of Hotel Signoria (they didn’t mentioned there is a fee for it) and I took that as a complimentary breakfast. I only found out on my check out date that they charged me 15 Europe for the breakfast. With the same price you can have much better breakfast at a decent cafe. I highly suggest you skip their breakfast. It’s overpriced and it didn’t taste that good; (3) this place gets noisy at night. There are people (probably drunken individuals) yelling out or speaking out very loud at night (after 11pm). Also, the trash truck also picking up trash and making super loud noise after midnight. This is not the property’s fault, but if you are a light sleeper, please avoid this property and find another accommodation.

On entry to the room everything was ok. Although it was supposed to be a two bed room. The second room, was a small living room with a sofa bed and no door, that led to the en-suite. As we are one family it was fine! One of the curtains were hanging down and shining light through. Also neither tv’s had a reception. We mentioned this to reception. Their reply was that maintenance did not work on Sunday’s but they would sort out. (Ok) No action was taken during the remainder of our stay. But the issue with the bathroom. Which we complained and no action was taken. Is totally unacceptable, both the shower and sink were blocked and very quickly overflowed. The plug had been removed from the sink. So I assume it had been a problem before? With regards to the shower. There was soap and hair backfilling into the shower tray. After the third person in the room had used the shower it was flooding onto the floor. Also, the door handle kept pulling off the door and made difficult to close. Paying 800 euros for a 4 night stay. Iam very disappointed and look forward to hearing from you. Colin Clover

The centre of Florence

The location was very convenient for exploring Florence. The room was comfortable. Breakfast was in the associated nearby hotel, was very good and had a great view from the 7th floor of Florence.

They email the location for check in about 2 blocks away from the rooms. So be ready for that. The Repubblica B&B was good. The free breakfast is two blocks away on a rooftop. Breakfast was great and beautiful view.

room is too hot

The room was hot. We asked for a fan, but they didn't have one. The air conditioner was not adequate to cool the entire room. The upstairs bedroom got very hot and was difficult to sleep in. lt was also confusing to get the key. I didn't know there wouldn't be anyone on site. It was not a smooth check in for that reason. The location is good. The front desk people were friendly and accommodating.

keep looking around don't stop here

this hotel was very hard to find not too many signs around. the elevator was very old reminded me of maxwell smart.there was no one at the hotel when we arrived. 15 mins later someone arrived. the room was totally different to the one on the website. bed was hard as a rock. we ask about breakfast the guy said you have to walk about 10mins to another hotel wasn't to convenient each morning.
