The room was clean, but we ran into several issues during our stay. The TV was still in demo mode and couldn't be used properly. There was also a strange, persistent noise coming from the refrigerator—unplugging it didn’t help—and it drove me a bit crazy throughout the night. The hot water was only lukewarm, and the heater unit didn’t seem to work correctly. However, the front desk staff were responsive and helpful. They answered our call right away and brought up an extra blanket and a portable heater, which made things much more comfortable. The room was also quiet; we couldn’t really hear our neighbors. Thankfully, we were only staying one night.

For what it was as far as location, the type of motel, it was fine. The pictures are better than the actual room. Smaller, not as clean feeling as they look in pictures, but acceptable. It was okay for the price and a night for its location in a pinch.

There no one there till 4, the location was close to the Skunk train depot. They had a metal piece around the bottom of the bed that you hit and it made noise.

Owner was the only one I dealt with during the trip. She was ok. Not very friendly, but friendly enough. Bathroom shower was slippery and so was the tile in the bathroom.

Room smelt clean but, wasn't very clean. Room is WAY smaller than the picture they advertise. The bed is hard and very springy. The framing of the bed is significantly larger than the mattress itself allowing you to see underneath the bed and clearly they have never cleaned there. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place.

Would have given higher score except that receptionist (deputy manager) messed up the room number and key. I can accept mistakes but I do expect a sorry when they tell you room 117 and give you a key for 114 then when you go back they blame you. Nice real ale brewery just up the road
