Booked a room with a king bed but they only had queen beds available. Stated they could not give us the room we booked because other guest members take priority since Expedia provides rooms at a discounted price. Room itself was not very clean. Sink was cracked with hair in it. There was waste from prior members still on the floor that we cleaned ourselves. Would not recommend.

I really enjoyed my stay at Fort Lauderdale Marriott North, staff was wonderful, fast food & restaurants is nearby & beaches were only about a 30 minutes away, and had a Starbucks, restaurant/Bar at the hotel. I will definitely be coming back.

Property appeared to be in decent shape. A/C did not work. It was 76 - 79 degrees in the room. And the AC unit tried to turn on every 2 min then turned off for the length of the night. Bathroom shower worked "Okay", when turning on the shower there was not a good seal so as the shower was used the bathtub filled with water.

I arrived here on May 3, 2025, and initially found it to be a pleasant place, although it was undergoing construction. However, the following morning I encountered a disappointing experience during breakfast. The server’s approach made me feel somewhat unwelcome, as I was asked to pay before having my meal, despite paying $275 per night for my stay plus stating breakfast was offered untill 11am never stated it was not include. It left me wondering about the overall hospitality standards here in Florida. Additionally, I noticed some cleanliness issues, including the presence of cockroaches, which detracted from my overall experience. I believe there are better options available nearby that offer a more welcoming atmosphere.
