Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The proximity to the beach was the best part. It was amazing to just walk down the block to A1A, then go two blocks over to the crosswalk to the beach! Or you can walk along the beach on the sidewalk alsoâ we walked on that to restaurants, the Las Olas Farmersâ Market, the Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, and the Bonnet House Gardens. The heated pool was another highlight; the backyard area around it feels private because of the fencing & foliage around it. It was nice to have the pool house to be able to spread out a little more, and great thereâs a washer & dryer in there too. The air conditioning works well; there were only two nights in January when it was chilly & we had to make do with the space heaters & blankets. The wifi works well in the main house, as well as in the space between the main & pool houses, but it doesnât work well in the pool house (although the Roku tv still works). The minor issues that arose during our stay were handled quickly. The pool is maintained regularly. Some nights the iguanas ran across the rooftops, which isnât something weâre used to, but might just be a caveat to having flat roofs surrounded by amazing tropical foliage.
