When the door lock box would not work, I contacted Coastal Breeze Property and was first told that I was entering the wrong code (which I wasnât). Then the following day when I had a problem again with the lock, I requested a maintenance person to come fix it, they never sent one. And on the third day, I called with the same problem, the girl I spoke with at Coastal Breeze told me to pull the door towards me when entering the code as a solution. I demanded a maintenance person come out and when he arrived, not only did he agree that the bold mechanism of the lock was catching in the door jam (which he had to remove) but that the reason the lock box wasnât opening properly as well was because the batteries were almost completely dead. After all of this, at the very end of our stay, I contacted Coastal Breeze to ask for a late check out because our flights got delayed over 6hrs and their reply was that they could give me an hour for an additional $75. We checked out at 10am and spent the next few hours on the beach and when we came back well after 1pm, the cleaning crew hadnât been there nor were there any new guests which were the reasons we were told we had to pay for one additional hour. I am aware when âpeakâ season is in FL and if there were guests needing to check in right after us, I also would understand BUT this wasnât the case at all. We will not be recommending or renting with any properties managed by Coastal Breeze again!
