This will be a mixed review but we are giving a low rating based on how we were handled by property mgmt given the issues experienced during our stay. First, the house. The house itself and the property is exactly as advertised and very comfortable and nice. Kudos to the owners! However, we did have a major issue upon checking in when we found the pool was unusable due to the green/murky water. We contacted prop mgmt right away upon the check-in evening but nothing was done until mid-day the next day. The pool and filter system required a thorough cleaning and the water treatment process would not permit us to use the pool until the next day, leaving us without the primary amenity for a full day 1 evening. This may have been avoidable if prop mgmt reacted faster after the pre-check in inspection. After voicing displeasure with this situation, requesting compensation and numerous attempts to contact prop mgmt via VRBO messaging as well as direct phone contact with Kathy, we are still without an answer regarding fair compensation for loss of use of the primary amenity. Homeowners have a wonderful house location but we unfortunately had a bad experience. Waited for a response until the last day of the review period.
