Bed was stained with blood and food. There was a dirty underwear by the headboard. Will never stay or book with Hyatt again. Was not offered another room and did not receive a refund.

I had recently traveled to FL for my cousin’s wedding this past weekend. I had made the reservation for two nights (November 8-10) a few weeks ago. When I arrived to the property, the customer service representative informed me that they no longer had my King Bed /room reserved and that they would have to downsize me to a double queen bed room instead. Additionally, I was charged two additional times (4 nights) during my stay for reasons unknown. I never received an itemize receipt when checking out and when I called later to obtain an explanation of these random charges and an itemize receipt of my stay no one could explain these charges to me.

My first room was pretty deplorable. Roaches, overwhelming smell of mildew/wet carpet. Dirty walls with footprints & handprints, dated, chipped, water damaged wooden furniture, blankets with giant holes in them, stained linen, dried BOOGERS on a head board of one of the beds, mold growing on the headboards of the beds, stained carpet, stained decorative pillows with dried white substance/stains as well. They also do not have Smart TV’s. I was very disappointed, surprised, and embarrassed. The staff were all very nice. I left so upset and looking for another hotel room. It got very late into the evening, my children were tired and my husband accidentally booked another hotel too far away which I had a nightmare trying to cancel and rebook. Again, the staff were nice and friendly. I went back and they promptly switched my room. It was, shall I say….better, we were just still quite a bit traumatized. I highly doubt I would take a chance on the Hyatt Place again.

The staff was helpful and accomodating when my first room didn't have working AC. There wasn't any hesitation when I asked for a different room with wroking AC. Overall the facility itself has seen better days. The furniture is starting to show wear and tear. The wallpaper is starting to peel, especially in the bathroom. The foyer furniture is worn and the elevator has dents and markings. Not a bad place to stay, just don't expect much.
