Should have been closed for renovation noise

The new updates were nice, esp in the bathroom area. We do miss the games that used to be available in the living room though. Unfortunately there was loud jackhammering going on right outside our door most mornings and VERY early, this really effected our sleep and peace. I feel like all rooms near the noise should not be made available at those times, it isn't fair to your guests. They did give us a partial very small discount, but had we known we would be dealing with so much construction noise we would have stayed elsewhere.

If you want a comfortable nights sleep DO NOT RENT THIS UNIT. The mattress has a slope in the middle. I checked back at the reviews and prior tenants have been complaining about it. The water was out for a day in the whole building. Vacasa management company was not very helpful during that time

Peoperty grounds was great, lots of aminities. Really nice pool stunning views. Room wise, the hot water in the shower did not turn off all the way so it dripped constantly and the mattress in the bedroom was worn/broken and sank in, in the middle. Other than those 2 things the room was clean and spacious, balcony was great, views were amazing.

The property is in dire need of a complete update but at minimum, rip out carpets to get rid of smell AND a new bed! No sleep for 6 nights!

Disgusting Dirty!

As others have said, the location and view are perfect, but there was hair all over the bathroom when we arrived. My daughter's feet were black after walking around the condo for 30 minutes and there was sand in the bed. I was hopeful that after all previous negative reviews about the lack of cleanliness that it would have gotten better. Nope!

Quick Getaway

I have never been to Fort Walton before this trip and we found this condo as a last minute trip. The condo was perfect for myself and 3 teenage girls. It had a full kitchen and all the utensils we needed. The beds were comfortable and it was easy to get to the beach and pool. The best part is the ease of getting to and from your car and room to the pool/beach. I hope to come back!!

The unit is in poor condition. Everything looks like it was picked up at Goodwill. Doors are broken, balcony chairs are rediculous, and the bedroom window needs a curtain to keep light out !! You would think Vasasa management would inspect or demand from the owner better furniture and equipment !!!!!

The location was perfect, the property not so, Very out dated, functional but not great. Reported deficiencies and there was not attempt to correct them or acknowledge that it was an issue. Would go again, but would ask for a unit that was owned by someone other than the property manager

DIRTY!!

Dishwasher full of dirty dishes. Dining room table & chairs disgusting. Supposed enhanced covid-19 Cleaning anything but. Also clumps of hair or something on the carpet. Wish I could post the pics I took.

Great family friendly vacation!

The quiet hours were respected. The walls were thick. The beach view is breath taking. The location was great, and Accessible to everything we needed/ attractions. The check in and check out was all digital and easy to do. Everything was contactless but they made it known that if we need help or a manager we had that opportunity. The only thing I could complain about was the size of the pool because it’s hard to social distance but it wasn’t a big deal. We avoided the hours where it was crowded. The kitchen had everything we need to cook with and eat with. The bathroom had towels and soaps. The room had fresh sheets and extra blankets. There were trash bags, dish soap, DVD player and everything to make it more convenient. There was a good amount of parking too. Over all it was a very calm relaxing stay and I’ll definitely be back.

Review of my stay

The property was great and the beach and area wonderful. The only complaint I have is that I was not notified of construction in the unit next door that woke us every morning. We should have gotten a heads up to make the choice to rent or not. I was refunded some of my money for this. Updates should be done in the off season, not the July 4th holiday break.

The property was clean and plenty of room for the four of us.

The only issues I had, one was mentioned in a previous review, the stove door catches on the drawer and handle. Someone removed the handle but, we just took to drawer out to use the oven. In addition the dishwasher placement also catches on the stove when you open it. Just a poor design of the kitchen and I found the cabinets very dated. One thing disturbing to us at night...the AC intake fan is located right out side the bedroom and a window and it is very loud when it comes on. It comes on a lot!! I enjoyed sitting on the balcony every morning to drink my coffee and watch the morning beach activity. For this unit, be sure to bring coffee filters!! Products initially provided, one roll of paper towels, a small container of dishsoap, two kitchen hand towels, one individual packet of dishwasher soap and two rolls of bathroom tissue. If you plan to stay longer you'll need extra supplies. Internet worked well for our xBox gaming children and I found the front desk staff very nice and helpful. The washer and dryer is not located in the unit but, downstairs on the first floor as a community laundry room and is coin operated. I just decided not to do laundry!! The website stated the kitchen had a blender but, it did not so my husband could not have his morning shakes. We did enjoy renting free movies each night. Lastly, the pool, not sure if the pool got cleaned everyday and watch out for other people leaving their inflatable pool toys along the narrow walkways around the pool. Also, people do not know how to dry off after swimming and walk through the lobby to the elevators barefoot and dripping wet so be cautious. Overall, we did enjoy our last minute vacation while we awaited the closing of our new house.
