Room was very clean and the staff was friendly. There was a couple of small tears on a vinyl cushion but other than that it had a dorm room feel but in a good way. Work out area had evey you need, pool was freezing cold. not sure if a heater was broken or it s always that cold. All and all a good experience

I always have a great stay with Avid in downtown Fort Worth when I visit! The location is perfect for walking downtown and quick access to the highway. The room and breakfast amenities were great and we were able to park our rental car in the lot for free! The only downside is not having streaming apps on the tv and the smart TV cast not working as intended from my device.

Staff was contacted for numerous concerns - manager never contacted us. Due to allergies, we travel with personal washcloths, this was removed first day of cleaning, however staff could not find it - never made effort to replace it. When room was insufficiently cleaned, no washcloths were left in room, when we went to ask for washcloths, it was stated they had none on site to provide, only to “double check” upon my insistent request and they found a full set of towels (Odd, since I was told two min prior, they had none clean). Further - our room was “cleaned” with only one bed made each day, pillows left thrown on floor, trash and breakfast/food items left (clearly eaten and left to be disposed on plates) in room all day, when towels were removed - we had to request EVERY day - for either body towels, hand towels or washcloths. Front desk was always kind - but the insufficient cleanings, loss of our personal item, and lack of necessary linens for guests was concerning. Breakfast, was slightly above an MRE. It satisfied for substance, but very lacking in quality. Again, both direct notes were left for management during our stay as well as personal survey completed - only to never hear from the property. So, sadly, this is a public - negative post.

The staff was very friendly. Even with our late arrival and check-in, greeted by a smile. The hotel was clean and well maintained. Coffee and water (24hrs) was a great benefit. Parking is limited if you are traveling on a busy weekend. Be ready to park in the surrounding neighborhood. Shower door leaked onto the bathroom floor but staff was willing to change our room. Overall, close to the stockyard and nice hotel. We would stay there again.
