I was surprised how clean the room was. Hoping for no carpets next time. They have a restaurant for evenings and given it was Valentine's Day, it was quite busy. We licked out and enjoyed some great Chinese food, and plenty of it. Complementary breakfast was ok. We wish we could have got to those waffles because they looked fabulous.

Room was really clean and cozy. Beds were comfortable. The only issue was the thermostat did not go down enough, so the room was a bit warmer, reported it to reception and they will look into it. Breakfast was good and quick for getting on the road early.

Staff was great but the whole place need an update. Smoke smell from what I assume is still lingering from days when people could smoke was very apparent in the hallways. Breakfast was a disappointment as well. No bacon or sausage. Peanut butter packets need replacing.

Our room was in good condition, clean. Our friend's room had some serious damages to the connecting door. The Hallways are in serious need of repainting, the elevator makes a lot of concerning mechanical noises. We book an annual stay-cation at a hotel with a pool for the kids to break up the winter blues; the pool was cold, and Sunday morning it was closed. Apparently this is a common occurrence so I would definitely check on pool status if that's what you are looking for. Breakfast was good with lots of options. Best staff interaction we had was the two young women who checked us in. They were friendly and courteous, even interacted with our kids. Regardless that not all of our experience was poor, we won't be returning.

The room was not very clean. Reported to front desk. Potato chips on floor near bed. Discovered a ginger ale bottle behind the bedside table. Pool was only available one late afternoon after an approx 1 hour wait. Pool was very cold.
