This compound was amazing for us and our dogs! Wd all enjoyed the wrap around decks, yard, views, nature and the beautifil home itself - with a seperate "apartment" downstairs. This was like renting a small hotel. It's completely fenced and we had no worries letting our dogs out the front door to explore/potty. It was like being at home - if we won the lottery. We can't recommend this rental enough. We had so much fun,was so relaxing, made beautiful memories that we will never forget!

This home is not only beautiful and perfectly located, but it is stocked and very comfortable. Management was so nice and attentive. The coutdoor area is heaven on earth with the beach steps away. We cooked on the outdoor griill. Everything was working, well manicured and clean. Even the pool man was extremely nice and knowledgeable. This home is huge with a seperate "apartment" downstairs, but it has a homey, comfortable feel. Plus, it's just steps from the beach, stores, golf cart rentals, restaurants and a coffee shop. Even in October the surf was warm and the pool was amazing. We enjoyed the views from the decks day and night. The grounds have more than enough room for people, pets and parking. We have rented many vacation homes in Galveston and Surfside, this one is now our favorite!

The location was absolutely on point for Labor Day weekend—close to the beach and convenient. Unfortunately, that’s about where the positives stop. I really dislike leaving bad reviews, but the pictures on the listing were very deceiving, and many of the advertised amenities simply weren’t available. For the price, we expected much better.Communication was only through cellphone, and while someone would respond, no one ever came out to actually fix issues or go out of their way to help. The 400 cleaning fee is a joke—the house looked like it was cleaned by a teenager at best. The downstairs room by the pool was the worst part: it had roaches, so you couldn’t leave anything on the counter. Bug spray was placed throughout the house, which pretty much tells you the situation.Overall, the location can’t be beat, but the condition of the home, lack of true amenities, and poor cleanliness made this a disappointing stay. For what we paid, it was not worth it.

We had a great stay at Sea Haven! The only thing was the lights around the pool did not work at night. This was reported, and I was told they would send someone but never happened. Overall great stay!

Great house for entertaining!

Had a wonderful time at Sea Haven. Property is set up well for entertaining and is a great place to relax. Property owner is very accommodating. Wouldn’t change a thing. 5 stars!!!!!

Beautiful!

This is a very beautiful home and property. The house has lots of room. Beautiful views from every angle. Even with rain everyone enjoyed playing in the pool. This is a very nice place for family reunions. The beach is very close to walk too.

HOME ON THE BEACH AND POOL

I was looking for a home to rent with beach access and also a pool, we love the ocean and also are pool people we have a very young grand grand children and teaching them to swim in a pool was ideal! Loads of space for my entire family, each family had a room the space was Hugh to gather in for board games We had EXCELLENT weather pool was clean, parking was excellent - would I go back YES BEST HOUSE on the beach I could of pick for my family reunion /vacation/birthday

Perfect Family Retreat

We stayed at SeaHaven for a whole week for our family vacation. This property was wonderful, well appointed, and clean. It had everything we needed and then some. The pool area is amazing and all the kids young and old had a blast. The outdoor lights at night just gave the perfect ambiance for fun filled nights. I loved that the property was completely fenced in. It gave us a sense of security and privacy like a private retreat. Also, we travel with our dog and the fence was perfect because we didn’t have to worry about him wandering off the property and into the road. The house is so close to the beach we were able to walk to the beach every day sometimes several different times in a day. The house is within walking distance to a couple restaurants and a coffee stand all of which were delicious. The host was super responsive and helpful when we had questions. We loved staying here and hope to vacation here again in the future.

Best Beach House Ever

This home is so lovely inside & out. The views are fabulous, the house extremely comfortable, and just what a family vacation home should be. The pool which was why we chose this home did not disappoint. It was very well maintained. Matthew the owner was always available if we had questions or needed anything.

Wonderful beach house vacation

Sea Haven is a beautiful house with everything you could possibly need for a perfect beach vacation. This property is well managed and cared for. It is a short walk to the beach with a great restaurant across the street. The pool area is well set up for lounging and having fun. It was so wonderful to take our 2 dogs with us as the property is fenced. We wil most certainly visit again!

Beautiful getaway!

The property is absolutely beautiful! Convenient location. Love the privacy and security with the fencing and gate. Plenty of parking. Lots of conveniences in this home through all levels. Great spaces to accommodate everyone. The pool, covered tiki bar and additional covered lounging areas are great! Everything is thought of in this home. Highly recommend!

Time of our lives!!!

I want to give a big shout out to Matthew. He’s the property owner he was awesome. Any questions or concerns that I had. He was quick about giving me the assistance that I needed. If you’re ever thinking about renting a beach house on Surfside. Seahaven is the place to get. The pool and hot tub was a plus we definitely took full advantage of it. We brought extra dishes and items thinking we would need them, but the house already supplied everything we needed. The house was very beautiful on the inside and out and accommodated all of our needs.

Ocean Waves

Property was fine exactly what was expected and owner was very on top of making sure we had everything we needed. Had a great time, couple of days of 'off' weather but dressing for the wind and rain the beach walks were terrific. Great waves! Good seafood restaurant across the street and great Gulf watching restaurant at the end of the block. St Patrick's Day Parade was an added bonus as it went right in front of our location. Thanks.

Overall stay was excellent was a last minute booking but turned out nice. My only complaint and this is probably on the area is the water was kind of yellowish coming out the faucets.

Group Trip

We planned a group trip to stay here and couldn’t have picked a better spot! Matthew communicated so well from the time we booked to the time we checked out. The house was super clean and very well stocked, the location was the perfect location for beach access and the pool/hot tub was awesome to relax in.
