This was one of my favorite vacation rentals I have stayed in! The house was amazing, in pristine condition, wonderful views, awesome lay out. I could have stayed for a month! I Will absolutely be staying here again.

Very enjoyable stay, beautiful views

This house was perfect for a last little trip before school starting. I loved the pond views, where there was a lot of bird activity all the time. The house was well appointed, beds very comfortable, and exactly as described. We had quick responses to messages, highly recommend!

Beach Home Away From Home

We loved this place from the moment we arrived. The house layout was wonderful with plenty of room for dining and relaxing, the furniture was very comfortable and we loved the screened in porch with a beautiful view to watch wildlife. It was awesome to be able to grill outside- this is always fun to enjoy the fresh local seafood.The other BIG Bonus is the lovely neighborhood pool access- without the amenity card purchase!The place was clean and well maintained- Highly recommend staying here!

Gorgeous Place for a Getaway

From start to finish, we had a perfect experience. The property manager was wonderfully efficient and fast. The home was absolutely adorable, super well appointed, and well located. We love Fripp and we loved our stay in this home.

Relaxing space

We had such a great time watching all of the amazing wildlife out of our windows!! This home was a great set up for us and the golf cart was great. The host was responsive to all of our questions and on top of everything!! Would love to stay again!

Great stay in a great location

We loved this property, and I really liked how it was tucked out of the way. The views of the water from many of the windows was a pleasant surprise, and the gators were fun to watch throughout the day. The house was a great size for our family of 4 +1 friend. We also enjoyed having our dog there as well. She enjoyed the deer and gators too! We would stay here again.

Awesome Place

This was our first time at Fripp. The owner had great communication and the property was better than advertised. Beautiful views and plenty of space. Golf cart was convenient for getting around the island.

Absolutely beautiful home. So comfortable and had the added bonus of a golf cart and bicycles. We had a great time and would definitely return to this home. I highly recommend.

Perfect birthday week

Our family had a fantastic time at this beautiful home. The house is perfect, great location, and in beautiful condition. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with dishes, and glassware. We had beautiful views of wildlife every day, and loved having a neighborhood pool, as the resort pools were very crowded. We would definitely love to come back again.

Perfect

We have been staying at this house for years - it is a perfect place to unwind! The dogs love laying on the porch and going for rides in the golf cart. We have had issues with fleas at other houses that allow pets - but not here! Always clean and well stocked, it is our go to beach trip. Can't wait to go back!

Fripp's best secret

Fripp Island at its best! Secluced setting surrounded by water on three sides in a private neighborhood. The house is thoughtfully furnished. You only need to unpack and you're ready to go.

The house was wonderful. Location perfect. The private pool was a great addition to all of the amenities available on Fripp. Kathy, the managing agent was so caring. Answered every question and resolved an issue immediately. After a 4 year absence this stay made us realize how much we missed and love Fripp Island.

Felt like home away from home

We absolutely loved the house! We had 4 adults, a toddler, and our dachshund this trip. We each had plenty of room to spread out, and we loved the open concept of the floor plan. We gravitated to the living room near the amazing windows that overlooked the lagoon. The golf cart made navigating the island a breeze. Loved that it was already there and included in the listing. We made lots of great memories in this house, and we look forward to future stays!

Great Time!

This was a great property on Fripp. We have rented for several years and this house did not disappoint. Golf cart was great too. The lake surrounding the house made us feel serene and provided daily excitement with the alligator sightings. The Deer Lake community pool was refreshing, clean and uncrowded. The kids stayed in the upstairs space and we never heard them. Everything was nicely new and updated. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Amazing rental!

Thanks for sharing your amazing home with us. It is located on the back side of Deer Lake Community away from the main street noise. It is in a quiet, secluded location. The house has an open floor plan with comfortable furnishings and an amazing screened in porch overlooking the lake on the east side (great for watching the sun rise while drinking an early morning cup of coffee). the kitchen is well stocked. It has everything one needs to have a wonderful visit on Fripp Island!

Our new favorite vacation spot!

This property is AMAZING! The house, neighborhood, & Fripp Island in general exceeded our expectations! A beautiful view from all sides, so many different areas to take in all the beauty & wildlife without being on top of each other, comfortable & beautifully decorated, a great kitchen, a wonderful outdoor shower to wash off the sand from the wide, uncrowded beaches (so easy to access with the golf cart). We also enjoyed riding the bikes through the quiet neighborhood & bike trails. The neighborhood pool was nice to have access to also. So much to love about this special place! It was such a peaceful retreat & so hard to leave!

We Can’t Wait to Be Back!

This was our first time on Fripp Island and we fell in love with the location of this house in a private neighborhood. Very spacious and open, well stocked kitchen, amazing views on the porch where we watched deer and alligators and wildlife. Having the golf cart and bikes were so helpful! Our adult children enjoyed the upstairs space, and the beds were comfortable and 3 bathrooms was a plus for us. The only downer was that the generator they were using to control the lake water level was very loud and distracting. So after the first day once they started with the pump we couldn’t use the screened in porch anymore. We hope to be back next summer and appreciated the amenities and enjoyed our stay.

Wow! The best VRBO we’ve stayed at!!!

My husband, bro & sis-n-law stayed here April 23-30. What a fantastic stay! They stayed in upstairs suite since they could control a/c separate from downstairs. Total privacy for all! We are some pretty serious cooks and the kitchen was really perfect. Lots of everything plus stuff left by others. Golf cart was appreciated letting us do lookie-see trips around the island. We all fell in love with alligators and singing birds outside the deck. I would suggest to future people who love to cook…do your shopping in Savannah. The Publix store in Beaufort (?) was a sore disappointment. On the other hand, everyone LOVED the shrimp from Gay’s Fish Company. Strawberries were beyond delicious from local farmer markets! Would we do a return trip? YES!

Beautiful location

This property is located in a wonderful area on a small pond. We enjoyed seeing the alligators and all of the birds. The neighborhood pool also is a plus. We did have several hiccups during our stay. Initially, there is not a gas grill as listed. It is a charcoal grill. We did not bring charcoal and lighter fluid but the property management company promptly responded and provided those items. The house does not have hot pads or oven mitts--not a big deal, but we recommend that those items be added. Our biggest issue was the cooktop--it worked on our first night, but quit working on Friday morning. We made do on Friday night and have leftovers both on Friday and Saturday, but were disappointed as we all are cooks and had brought fresh seafood, pasta and produce. We contacted the property management company on Friday evening, but did not receive a response to the stove issue until lunchtime on Saturday. It was unable to be repaired while we were there and, while the property management company gave us the code to another property so we could use their kitchen, we were not able to access that property, resulting in eating leftovers for a second night. We did not specifically request a refund, but we were given a $300 refund, which was a nice gesture that we appreciate. Overall, this is a great property and we certainly will consider returning based on the location and assuming that the stove issue is rectified.

Highly recommend this property. Great location. Beautiful views of the lagoon and lots of deer sightings. Absolutely perfect week. Appreciated Kathy's prompt responses and immediate attention to an issue with the golf cart which was quickly rectified.
