Clean but warm

The room was very clean and spacious, and it had a separate sitting room. The only issue was that the air conditioning was not turned on at all when we entered the room so it took forever to cool down, and the air conditioner was not adequate to reach and cool the sitting area.

The room was clean and nicely furnished. The highway traffic was a little loud for me as I do not normally live by such a busy highway. The room was quiet in regards to other guests which was nice. There was a very nice breakfast supplied with a variety of different options for a guest to enjoy.

This is a basic hotel but was very clean. Everything was comfortable, but the bed was way too soft and bouncy. Tbe hotel is very quiet, but it is next to a highway with A LOT of road noise. And the shade doesn't quite block the light, so if those things don't bother you or you use ear plugs and a sleepmask, you're fine. It was good for a 1 night stay.

AmericInn Galesburg is a nice, clean place to stay while visiting Knox College. Staff is friendly, always room and it’s conveniently located near the highway, Target and HiVee grocery store.
