Very clean classic neighborhood check in was easy parking was small but our guest never showed due to wrecking on way there. Only thing i could say negative would be the floors were bad and shower base was weak. Lovely home just needs a floor
Horrible place.. do not stay here had to leave due to roaches in kitchen, floors, sink, crawling on walls and appliances, fridge, bathrooms. More like a roach motel, house was not cleaned properly and floor had several soft spots felt you would fall thru the floors, paint cans stacked in corner, host
The home is conveniently located near the Port of Galveston, and it is a clean and pleasant residence. Things you may wish to know: I prefer my A/C a little colder; the second floor is quite steep; if you have any disabilities, please plan to stay in the first-floor bedroom. The flooring in the downstairs bedroom and bathroom shower is uneven and needs leveling. There was only one TV in the home, and it was located in the living room. If you are a TV watcher, like me, please note that the bedrooms do not have TVs. However, it was a great space to stay overnight for the price and location.
We stayed for a week in August!! House was amazing and clean when we got there. Had a little problem with AC leaking and the Host sent someone to fix it within an Hour!!They kept in touch with us to make sure everything was good and even sent a housekeeper half way thru the stay!!Would definitely recommend this home for any length of stay!!
It was great, except a handful of roaches, stray dogs and slightly sketch neighborhood. The sofa wasn't the most comfortable, the downstairs king bed was really stiff, while one of the queen beds was too soft (springless?)and held up by 2x4's. The washer also smelled a bit mildewy, but that's to be expected from front loading. The dryer was also loud and felt unstable. The place was pretty clean, tons of dishes/silverware/plastic ware. The high chair and playpen were also clean and good condition. I liked that they had plenty of towels for each bed. The cooking pans were awesome too, but there was a crack on the double burner, so we couldn't use the smaller inner burner, but it didn't seem to affect the pan. It wasn't perfect, but the complaints are nothing too serious. I do want to mention the steep stairs. Our kids were 3 and 5, so they were ok, but we had to help the 3 year old go down each time and had to keep an eye on them for sure. It was worth the price for us and within our budget, so overall, I'm glad we stayed here (for the price).
