Galveston Island Beach Cove View Vacation
Your Comments 1 day prior to arriving I was notified by the Beachtime Vacation Rentals owner Michelle (at 4:30 PM on Friday check-in Saturday,that the condo I had paid for sent all the documents required etc. DL's , Dog shot records etc. had a roof leak and the water went down the wall and cracked the ceiling and there was a large bubble on the wall in the living room. I did not have time to rent elsewhere, so the owner Michelle said she would find somewhere else for us to stay if we were not happy. We arrived after travelling all day and the smell of MOLD was awful, the crack in the ceiling was bad. we asked for the other place to look at it the next day and no one returned our calls. The next day Michelle called and said she had a place and that it did not have a dryer that worked and that we would have to pay more money to use the pool. SHe also said she would take 300 dollars off the price of the place we were in if we stayed. This is Day 3 of my vacation. We opted to stay, the place was not clean, bugs were everywhere and it was disgusting. Basically ruined our vacation.
