Cette maison spacieuse laisse entrer une tonne de lumiÚre et est à une courte distance de la plage. Le pont avant dispose de siÚges à l'extérieur pour les repas du soir ou une tasse de café le matin et il y a un espace couvert en dessous qui comprend une balançoire et une aire de pique-nique. La cuisine a tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour le dßner et la table à manger rustique est un endroit merveilleux pour en profiter. Avec la climatisation centrale, une laveuse et une sécheuse et un accÚs à la plage à proximité, c'est un endroit idéal pour passer vos vacances à Galveston.

Faites le plein de collations et de glace au Circle K Ă  proximitĂ©, car la plage n'est qu'Ă  quelques pas de cette maison. House was very nice. When I was standing outside close to the trash cans, water was leaking a lot from the pea trap area ( the pvc pipes) from the draining of the master bathtub. It’s above the wooden storage area close to the outdoor shower. It only leaked when we drained the bathtub

The inside has been updated and super cute! Comfy beds and furniture. I think 7 can stay comfortably. The lock on the door was tricky but otherwise very good.

My daughter and 1 year old grandson almost fell down the stairs due to stairs needing work. I called Sunday and they were supposed to come Monday morning never showed I called again and they came Wednesday. So we had to go slow the entire trip up and down the stairs being nervous. Any problems. Dust!!!!!!!! The move rocks when someone is walking. It’s older than the pictures. Need Tv in all rooms for kids!! Other than that we had a great time

Family vacation

We have come to this area 3 years now, we love the location. The home could use some TLC, especially the electronic door lock, could not use the feature, had to use key to lock deadbolt. Great view of beach, however windows are older and could be updated to take advantage of views. They are mildewing/foggy. Looking past these things, the home has good beds, house cooking was pleasant. We had a great week!

Nice Getaway

We stayed here while my daughter had an event at Moody, and it was a nice break from being in the City and only about a 15 min drive to get back there. The space worked perfectly for us. My partner and I, my 70s mother, and my daughter's boyfriend stayed the first 3 days, and my daughter joined us after her event, and the space accommodated us perfectly. The only thing that was an annoyance, and nothing against the property, was that there was construction work being completed on the house across the street and they were using a piece of heavy machinery which beeped when they moved it. The person doing the work was inconsiderate about the neighbors and even worked on Sunday morning at 8 am. Beeping was so constant that we really couldn't enjoy the outdoor spaces when it was going on, and it woke us up early while on vacation. Again, not a fault of this property, just an inconsiderately timed issue for us.

Beautiful Weekend

We rented the house during a family reunion. The ease of walking out the door and being at the beach was incredible. We also loved the hang out area under the house and the outdoor shower. We cooked a bunch, enjoyed sunrise from the porch every day and generally had a wonderful trip. I would rent this house again.

Direct beach access and views made our stay enjoyable. Well equipped kitchen and comfy furniture for evening meals and relaxing was a plus. Loved the supportive beds! Slept great. Conveniently close to good restaurants a neighborhood store.

Comfortable well located house across the street from the beach. Great for family with kids. Overall the property was good. House needs some work but a/c and beds were comfortable (depending on what you want). Downstairs had had some water and needed to be cleaned. Lot of mud. House was clean, but one of the pans was not clean. Also the coffee pot had not been cleaned out. Overall was a good stay. The house needs a lot of love but comfortable for us.

We had a very similar experience to the person who stayed in August 2020. Despite paying a cleaning fee, the home was not swept or mopped prior to our arrival, nor were the countertops wiped down. There was no hand soap for the restrooms either. The TV pictured as hung in the master bedroom is in the closet and there are holes where it once hung. The walls have scuffs and stains throughout and the dishwasher does not work. The dishes in the cabinets and drawers were dirty and had to be washed by hand. The location is right across from the beach, so it’s perfect, but the home was filthy. I expected much more for what we paid, especially the cleaning fee. Although there are three bedrooms they are small and close together. The bathrooms are also very small, more than two families would have been too crowded. I texted and messaged the owner the night we checked in and still have not received a response. We were very disappointed in the condition of the house and will not be returning.

Unsanitary

The bottom of the outdoor staircase was filled with water that smelt like sewage that we had to walk through to get to the stairs that led to the home. Many of my guests believed it was the septic tank. This occured on night 1. This is completely unsafe and unsanitary. When I called to report the issue, they mentioned they would send a tech to resolve the issue. We waited hours and no one showed up. They finally called back hours later to only tell me that they will not be sending a tech anymore because the septic tank was pumped a few weeks ago. They claimed the issue was from moisture. They could have at least sent someone to come look at the problem. I will not stay here again.

Location is Perfect but the House is Not As Nice as Pictured

We loved the location of the house - getting to the beach couldn't be easier. We kept all our beach stuff under the house out in the open without issue and just loaded it up to head to the beach each day. The neighborhood is small and the beach area near the house is a deep patch of land, so there's no crowding concern at all. Despite the numerous mentions of enhanced cleaning procedures for COVID 19, the cleaning of the house before our arrival was sub par at best. Our 3 year old walked around without shoes for 5-7 minutes and his feet were black with dirt. We saw long brown hairs all over the house that couldn't belong to anyone from our family. One of the shower towels was new and unwashed, as I found out after getting covered in white threads and fluff while drying off. Found multiple dirty plates. Found dried urine on the toilet bowl after raising the seat when we first arrived. One of the bedrooms also appears to have a significant accumulation of mold/dirt on the air vent. The house either has plumbing issues or lets air into its plumbing when it is not used for some time. The sinks and showers throughout the house spluttered randomly and aggressively the first 24 hours we were there. The issue resolved itself so I didn't bother calling the property management company. The master bed was uncomfortable and actually two regular length twins pushed together, which meant it felt short even for me at 5' 11". You can only park 2 cars, not 4 like the listing says. This was fine for us but wanted others to know. We chose this place for location, which did not disappoint, but also went a bit higher on our price range thinking we'd get a nicer place. We were very disappointed in the cleanliness and also overall look/feel of the place. Our expectations would have been managed better at a lower price point and more updated pictures.
