Located in the upscale Pointe West community, this third-floor 2BR/2BA condo boasts resort-style amenities and a spacious balcony with stunning bay views. Walk 880 yards to the beach and fish off the pier. Swim at the pool or take a soak in the hot tub. Enjoy access to the fitness center and game room, as well as an on-site pub and restaurant.

Stylish and contemporary, the spacious living area is the perfect mix of home comfort and boutique hotel living. Relax and watch your favorite shows on the 49” TV. There’s seating for six on a full-size sleeper sofa, love seat, and armchair. You’ll find everything you need to create your favorite culinary delights in the well-appointed and modern kitchen. A full suite of stainless-steel kitchen appliances includes a dishwasher and electric range. Serve meals at a dining room table for everyone to enjoy. Guest amenities include complimentary WiFi, cable TV, and a washer/dryer.

Travel 13 miles to Galveston Island State Park, a great spot for hiking and birding. While there, check out the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier for retro rides and waterfront dining. Drive 20 miles to Moody Gardens amusement park. Or take a day trip to Space Center Housing, just 50 miles away.

Great quiet location at the far west end of Gavelston. Great ameneties located in the main building. Infinity pool was beautiful. The beach was spotless and such a quiet place to enjoy the wonders of the Gulf.

Overall, communication with the local workers was horrible. I'm used to dealing with the actual owner and having very good communication. Had an issue at check, which I was a part of, but if someone had returned my call, it could have been cleared quickly. Second, the local person never checked us in, we couldn't even pay to get wrist bands to use the pool features. Had to wait two days until it was finally given to us. Had to call many times to get a refund. The place was deserted, but we could not get any service, hate to see it in the busy season. A very frustrating vacation.

The elevators were frightening to the extent we did not use them. A better description of the property and location of other amenities would be appreciated. It would have been nice to have had access to additional trash bags, dishwashing & laundry products, paper towels etc. If these cannot be provided make it known you should bring your own. Overall we enjoyed the condo, beach experience, and the ability to bring our dog.

10/10 view! We loved how light the crowd was and how easy it was to bounce between the two pools. The Beach Club restaurant was good, and the staff everywhere were super friendly and made the stay feel easy. Parking worked out, though spaces can be snug for bigger trucks/SUVs. Would love to see tap-to-enter (RFID/mobile) for gates and doors in the future to make beach days even smoother. Overall, fantastic trip—our senior dog Peeta had her first beach romp and gives it two paws up. We’ll be back next year!

Everything was clean and comfortable. We had two problems. In the front bathroom the mirror needs to be replaced. It is very mottled and difficult to see clearly. The second problem is the TV. We called the 800 number and was told you were not connected, therefore, no TV. Other than those two items we were very happy with location and condo. Would stay there again, but with better mirror and TV.

Bay Side Stay with Unclear Expectations

Overall, the condo was nice—everything was clean and well taken care of. However, I did have a few issues with our stay, mostly related to how the listing was worded.Nowhere in the listing did it mention that the condo was on the bay side. The way it was written made it seem like it was right off the ocean, as if you could walk straight out the back door onto the beach—but that wasn’t the case. The condo is on the bay side, not the beach side.The front desk staff wasn’t very helpful and came across as a bit lazy. Also, the listing mentioned that amenities from the Point West Beach Club were included, but it didn’t say you had to pay 25 per person for a paper wristband to access them. Without the wristband, you couldn’t use the pools, hot tub, or private beach—despite the listing making it sound like those amenities were part of the stay.It would have been helpful if the listing had clearly stated that there was a 25 fee for those “included” amenities. Another thing to be aware of: the condo is about 30 minutes away from downtown Galveston, and we weren’t able to get an Uber or Lyft during our stay. This made transportation a challenge, especially for those planning to explore the area without their own vehicle.

Beautiful rooms

Whole unit was very clean and comfortable. Parking spaces are narrow but additional parking are very close. Building is not on the Gulf side of the shore but the bay is about 1/4 mile from building but no sand or swim area. Nicely kept grounds. Looking forward to our next stay.

Fishing with Dad

We had a great time. Long weekend taking my Dad Fishing at San Luis Pass. This was a great location for that and he needed the elevator since he has a hard time with stairs. He also enjoyed the elevated bed. We all slept comfortably. I was happy to be able to bring our sog along and enjoyed taking long walks around pointe westcomplex. The walking and cart paths are expansive. We did not use the pools so I can't comment on that. This condo had everything we needed. T We definitely come again.
