This unit was great! Nice decor and clean. Covered parking is great and the pools are really nice and big. Only 2 downsides are that the complex itself looks rundown (not a dealbreaker since individual rooms are nice and the main pool is so big). Accessing the beach is easy but this side of the beach is not nice at all. There’s not much actual beach—you walk off the steps and you’re just a few feet from the water. The beach is much nicer on the other side of the pier so if you don’t mind a little walk then it’s fine.

Disappointed

As soon as we drove up, I noticed that the condo building looked old and tired. I parked and made my way to the office. I immediately said to the office person that I must have misunderstood. I was thinking a short walk to the beach but not over a major thoroughfare. The office lady said, “Oh, you get used to it and it’s not so bad. You don’t have to wait long to get across.” Not true!She began to overwhelm me with detail after detail about dos and dont’s. Between that and signing papers, it was taking way too much time as my family was waiting in a hot car. Then she finally said we would walk to where the condo was. As soon as we opened the door we were overwhelmed with the smell of cleaning product (Fabuloso?). The unit was cool and properly cleaned but the unit had its flaws: ice maker did not work (a few ice trays had been filled), there was no stopper for the bathroom that was next to the larger of the 2 bedrooms. I am a bath (not shower) taker and one of the other family members already had baby in that bathroom (bathing) , and finally, both nights we were there the DISH network wax not working, so we were unable to view any TV. Each morning we were there it would come on just fine and at night it would work at first, but then would not work. It was 9 p.m at night and too late to try to get it fixed. When we went to the pool on our first evening there, I sat the pizza box with pizza down and immediately we noticed bunches of ants. We did enjoy the nice pool,

Pool and Ocean Views!

My husband and I met our son and his wife in Galveston for the weekend. My son found this condo and we thought it was perfect!! It was spacious, decorated beautifully, everything we could possibly need was available. The grounds and pool areas were nice and not crowded. We would love to come back!!

Great place to stay!

Very clean and updated! Host was very responsive. Place was a little smaller than we expected, twin beds are out in the open right by the main entrance, but everything was very clean and many accommodations provided. Perfect for 4 adults. Beautiful view from the balcony of the pool and ocean in the background. Would stay again!!

Nice stay before a cruise

Stayed two nights to see Galveston before embarking on a cruise. The directions were very easy to follow. Note that the beach is across a particularly busy highway with no crosswalks close - closest one maybe 3/4 mile away? All beach front locations are this way, not just this condo, just FYI. The condo unit was right next to laundry, which was very convenient! The complex has 2 or 3 pools, the kids loved that, and we enjoyed the privacy since the crowds were scattered between all the pools. Donna was very responsive to any questions we had, we enjoyed staying here!

Quick Getaway

We made a quick trip to Galveston before school started. We had a great time. This place was nice and all 6 of us had enough room to sleep. It was clean and up to date. Easy walk to beach, putt putt, golf carts, and pier!! Pools were great too!

Family Vacay

The property was perfectly appointed. It was just perfect for us. 4 adult women and one child - the beds were incredibly comfortable! The kitchen was well stocked! There was so many things we brought that the place already had! We were very comfortable. It was so close to the beach and all the other activities. The pool was very clean and nice too! Condo was very nice

the condo was nice and had everything we needed. There were a couple of plumbing problems but they were fixed within a few hours of our arrival. The only thing we would have liked were chests in the bedrooms. There was no place to put our clothes. We had to live out of our suitcases. The pool was very nice. The grandkids really enjoyed it. We had a nice view of the water from the balcony

Great girls weekend getaway!

My friends and I visited Galveston for a quick girls weekend and this condo was perfect! The space was great for the four of us, and we absolutely loved the pool! It’s definitely an older complex but this unit has been updated really well and was really beautiful! Would recommend!

We enjoyed staying here! Everything was clean, the beds were comfy, and the kiddos loved the bunk beds! Great location right across from the beach. We also enjoyed swimming in the pools, relaxing in the hot tub, and grilling by the pool.

Short Vacation

Our stay at Donna’s was perfect! In front of our vacation, we received very clear, specific instructions on how to check in. We knew we were getting there after the office was closed, but she was very helpful with all of that. The location was perfect, parking was super easy and plentiful, and the ocean was right across the road. Her property was just far enough away from the busy side of town to enjoy some peace and quiet, but close enough for a short drive, if we wanted to get in the hustle and bustle fun. Five stars!

Nice area next to the beach

We had a good stay and the place was right next to the beach, about a 10 min drive to the busy part of the city. Overall we had a good stay and the booking people are really nice and incredibly responsive even at night. The ding would be when we went to get into our bed, the sheets in one of the bedrooms had multiple stains and a dead moth on it. The other bedroom and the bunk beds had clean sheets though. Donna immediately called somebody to come to our place and replace the sheets though that same night; she’s not somebody that will completely ignore you once your stay begins so you can feel confident you’ll get help if something comes up

Excellent Value and Location

The unit we stayed in was a great value, and in a great location. It is right on Seawall Ave, but far enough away from the typical Galveston crowd so we could relax. The furnishings were as advertised, and filled all of our needs. It is a comfortable place, and the A/C works great! We would definitely stay there again.
