The room was clean, but too cramped. Main reason for two stars is there was no hot water and the heat didn’t work on a 2 degree Celsius day. Quite frustrating to deal with on our trip of a lifetime so we actually just moved to a different hotel.

Definitely enjoyed our stay but gave it 4 star vs 5. On the plus side the location is great, it is well priced, staff were friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable and bathroom was spacious and modern. Didn’t give it 5 stars as when we entered there were old dirty mattresses in lobby, room was tight so nowhere to put luggage, lower floor quite loud in the morning. 12 of the 14 rooms are upstairs so those with mobility issues take note. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay in Galway. Central location and walkable to bars, shops and restaurants. Spotlessly clean and good facilities. Easy and friendly check in.. There are no lifts so may not suit less mobile guests.

Room was on small side. No real place to put our luggage. Very close to everything, very walkable. Dining options are close by. Only saw staff on check in and check out. Front door was locked even during hours someone was to be at reception. Had to carry room key(actual key) around at all times no place to leave it and get on return to property. Stairs are steep and narrow as are hallways but otherwise it served its purpose.
