Beautiful area with the Yellowstone river right in the backyard. We could watch the rafters go by. It was great having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The only thing is thereâs a lot of rules here and you have to take your garbage with you!!
Perfect for families!! We are a family of 7 and enjoyed the space and room. They have a smart tv in the living room so I was able to connect my netflix and had a movie night with the kids. The AC in both bedrooms works fast and efficient! There are so many pros! This cabin is great if youâre looking to stay in this area! I highly recommend.
The property was perfect for our group of 4 adults with plenty of space inside and out. Sitting on the patio as the sun rises over the mountain, shining on the Yellowstone River and watching Elk come up from the river bank to graze was majestic. The cabin had basically everything we needed, including bear spray so we didn't have to buy any. Plenty of kitchen supplies, bathroom towels and having a washer/dryer was a plus.Owner was very responsive and communicative.Would highly recommend!
Our family of 6 had a great time staying here. The cabin is rustic but the location is unbeatable, right by the river, and our kids loved walking down to play in the water and watch the whitewater rafters float by. We rafted and ended up going right by the house. Easy access to Yellowstone and Gardiner shops and food... after you get past the unpaved road. We would stay here again!
The house is in the perfect place to stay for your Yellowstone adventure. A beautiful view of the river and mountains. Enjoy relaxing outside on the back porch abd watch the rafters go by.
Loved watching and listening to the river from the back porch. Very relaxing after a long day in yellowstone. We were disappointed that post said 2 Queen beds in each room but all 4 beds were Full beds. After a long day in yellowstone we were too tired to contact the owner about it. Beds were comfortable. I didn't like that we had to drive 7 miles to the trash dump to take our trash out when checking out. Be warned the house is on a long gravel road and your vehicle will definitly get very dirty But the positives out weigh the negatives. Looking at the mountain views while sitting by the river was worth it. There was even a huge herd of elk in the field behind the cabin area when we checked in. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We only stayed 1 night and i would stay again.
it was what we needed with amazing surroundings and lots of animals.Itâs slightly rustic, and you should be sure to bring your own laundry soap or oil for cookingâŠ. Which can be pretty standard so I donât count it against the place. Itâs so close to the north entrance of Yellowstone and the town is cute and has what you need. We had a great time and we would go there again.
Perfect Location next to the hot springs and yellowstone park. Lots of wildlife and the cabin had everything we needed. Gardiner was very expensive to eat out so it was nice to have a kitchen
Iâve stayed in the park many times and decided to take a chance on a place outside of the Gardiner Entrance. Great spot on the Yellowstone river. Comfortable with 2 queen beds in each room. Fully equipped kitchen. Even a Weber bbq on the back porch. In the shadow of Devils Slide mountain. Even has AC which was great when temps hit 88 during our trip.
The cabin was wonderful and in a great location to Yellowstone. We were able to enjoy the best of both worldsâŠrelaxing and adventure. Very comfortable and all the amenities you would need, it felt like home!! Tammy was great and very responsive to all my questions. We would return again and again!
The house is a bit smaller than it looks in pictures.
There was also a strange odor that I imagine is from the old carpet that runs through the house.
When we arrived we noticed a bottle of fabreeze in every room so it must have been an issue before. The beds are comfortable and the view is beautiful. The kitchen has the the basics.
I called Vrbo and they confirmed that the 3 security cameras were not in the listing and they would contact the host. I now see it has been added. I would have never rented had I known they were there. I donât break the rules and I treat each house we rent all over the world with as much care as my own so having cameras staring at you your whole stay is anything but welcoming.. The one at the front door is not bad but the two on the back porch right outside the kitchen were very intrusive.
One was pointed toward the yard and the other pointed right at the seating area and whole porch. When sitting out there it was pointed right at you. It was so uncomfortable to know that someone was watching and listening to us. We decided not to grill out there and sit towards the side of the house because it was not private at all. Over all we liked our stay but a suggestion would be to give people their privacy and cut back on the rules and signs all over with more rules. It make you feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable.
While the inside isnât luxurious, it is comfortable and well equipped. The covered patio with view of the river is amazing and well worth the long drive down a gravel road to get there. I felt the description could have been a little more clear about how far out it was and that there is no cell service. For a one night stay near Yellowstone we were very pleased though.
