We enjoyed this place. While it is right on 101, noise wasn't an issue. There is a decent restaurant with generous portions, and good fish and chips. The great: When we first got to our ground floor room, there was noise coming from the room above ours. The proprietor promptly changed us to another room. The not so great: Our room didn't have a coffee maker, and when I went down to the office to get coffee, it was closed (~7 AM), and the restaurant wasn't yet open. We had to drive into town to get coffee. Not the end of the world, but inconvenient.

I reserved through Expedia for a total price of $188 including taxes and fees. The property charged me $188 plus an additional $35 for taxes and fees. I expect Expedia to facilitate a correction and refund.

Very late check in, staff were very rude to tell us absolutely no check in prior to 3pm. Toilet paper dispenser was coming off wall, ac unit barely worked, shoty at best! Pillows were terrible. The room at least smelled okay, but bathroom smelled moldy. We would not stay here again unless last resort.

Dirty sheets!

I was shocked that the agent sent me to a dirty room. I had someone’s hair and sand left on the sheet. I requested to replace a clean sheet and was given to me. I had to make a bed. That was so rude! Apparently the cleaning maid failed to do previously. Never again!

Rooms are contemporary and updated but you can hear all the neighbors talking. I would recommend everything else if you are a heavy sleeper. Next time they remodel they should add a layer of gyp bd with resilient channels on one side of all room separations and the ceiling. 😎
