We did not meet the staff, directions to our room was on a note at the door, with instruction for self serve continental breakfast in the morning. We had to drive to Lara for dinner.
Lovely heritage listed premises that was once the local hotel. Location is Little River which is off the highway between Werribee and Geelong. The station is fairly close by and there is a regular train service between Melbourne and Geelong so public transport is an option. Despite its proximity to Melbourne and Geelong, Little River is quiet and facilities are limited. The local hotel is next door but we went elsewhere after reading mixed reviews.
Very rustic B&B in the outskirts of Melbourne. The original farm house was used as a set in the movie Mad Max. Very quaint and rural. Pub next door is basic and minimal but beer is cold and people friendly. Train runs nearby so a tad noisy but managable. Room we booked was clean and well decorated. Jet bathtub did not work or maybe it was operator error. Either way still worked as a deep nice bath. Breakfast was minimal but perfectly acceptable. People live behind but attached to the property. No interaction with owners but we did arrive late. Overall nice. Would recommend.
It was a bit hard to find in the dark, self check-in was good though. Breakfast was very disappointing, we were looking forward to a nice hearty breakfast because we had a long travel ahead of us, toast, cereals and pre-packaged fruit cups were not very inviting and to top it off we had to pack the dishwasher ourselves. Not worth the money
Great little bed and breakfast to stay at once you can find your room. As it was a warm night we couldnt fiind any fans or air conditioning to help keep the ventilation going or even open up a window. Train station isn't far way either so great for going into tge city or Geelong for ghe day but can be noisy at night. Otherwise was great.
