Great location, calm

Pros: Location, cleanliness, quiet
Cons: More amenities would be nice; more than basic cable channels, would like to have movie channels. Coffee machine or kettle would be appreciated.
Location: Hotel in old Geneva, near St Pierre, Art and History Museum, Reformation Wall, Conservatory, Theatre, rue de la Croix d'Or (shopping street).
Cosy hotel, quiet room, and pleasant stay (even though we had the room right near the breakfast room), very clean and beautifully decorated, bed turned down and chocolates provided every night. Staff very agreeable and helpful, but tried to charge us for mini bar at the end of our stay even though we didn't use it. Free wifi appreciated. Hotel at the top of steep hill, difficult sometimes to walk to for my elderly mother. We also had problems with access to the hotel after 8pm (street closed off and the hotel had troubles letting us in) Surprised at lack of extras in an expensive luxury hotel, but chose it for the location, so I did not regret it.
