We had a really good time in this small and cosy hotel! Rooms are small but really cosy, bed is confortable, breakfast is soooo good ( home-made banana muffins and burrito!). Shared bathroom and kitchen. We really enjoyed this historical hotel aftet our 9h flight from France. This is a lovely out of the time hotel. And also the coffee is really good. Thanks a lot!!
What stood out was the historic charm and the very friendly and accommodating service. It was a wonderful stay in the mountains. The breakfast burritos in the morning were great as well my boyfriend loved them.
Itâs like coming home, room was clean and neat, very nicely decorated. This old hotel has a lot of character and soul, it does creak at night, and the noise from the interstate woke me up a couple of times but those canât be avoided. It would be nice if the Halloween lights had been shut off at some point since theyâre so close to the window! Parking was easy to find, this place is literally the first thing you see as you get off I-70 east.
Breakfast is self serve and even though Iâm not gluten intolerant I was very happy to see they had quiches for people who may be.
When I come back through this will definitely be a place I look to stay again.
This is a lovely little gem, situated in a calm area, complete with a hiking trail within walking distance. There is something special here, including the complimentary breakfast burritos.
The house is over 140 years old. Its leaning however the owner has made every effort to make it comfortable and cozy. Tiny details everywhere to make your stay comfortable. The bed was comfortable. We were initially surprised and cautious but we had a restfull quiet night. Kudos to Lauren to make this hotel a great option
My stay in this historic hotel was perfect. Being in this historic hotel and town with all the stories made the stay even better. The owner/proprietor made me feel at home. We had great homemade cookies, muffins, and breakfast burritos. Her knowledge of the hotel history and who had stayed there in the past was incredible. Such as Edison and Tesla as past guests. I plan to stay again whenever Iâm in the area. Next time will be a longer stay. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Such a little gem in the mountains! I saw a show at Red Rocks and didn't want to stay the right next to the venue. I found this wonderful little place just a 1/2 hour down the road, closer to where I'm living. Would highly recommend
