We stayed three nights. It's a 2* so don't expect luxury. Owners are very nice and the hotel is clean. But get a upper floor room because the ground floor rooms are super damp!!!
No food or drink in the breakfast hall other than cereal and small muffins.
Drug addicts in the parking lot walking up to my room asking if I had a knife.
Paid for a double room queen which is a lock off room with two queen beds. The owner of the hotel who lives on site denied me the room and said it is available for $15 a night extra.
Found empty beer cans in a cubby, trash behind the bed, and what appeared to be a very small bed bug or a tic.
Breakfast was just bread, cereal and yogurt. Juice machine was broken. Towels need replaced, stained and one had a hole. Pillows are flat. Otherwise good value
The staff was rude, overcharged me when i got there, even though i paid online, told me that even after i paid 80 in pet fees for 2 days that i couldnt leave my chihuahua there, the breakfast was dry bread and old coffee, and it was very unsafe there, and very loud
No room can be spotless. This room was good, the shower and sink worked properly and the hotel provided little soaps and shampoos which is always appreciated. The towels were clean. And when a hotel provides you a functional coffee maker and coffee, it makes my morning a little bit better.
Cozy hotel in a beautiful town. Front desk allowed me to check in early, as I had plans for the day. Room was ok and recently remodeled. Aircon worked well. Plenty of parking. My second time staying there so I will return.
My stay here was a pleasant surprise. The hotel doesnt look like much from the outside, but the rooms were ok. They had obviously been recently renovated with new furniture and new bathroom. The shower was hot, the AC worked, and the sheets were clean. Overall, especially considering the price, i would definitely stay here again. And the staff was very friendly and helpful both during my check - in and when i extended my stay 1 more night.
This remodeled room was perfect for my zero day during my AT LASH in SOPA. I stayed 2 nights in a squeaky clean room. The $20 extra per night for my dog was offset by the economic pricing of the rooms in general. The bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows. The AC worked like a champ (important, as I was there in August), and the hot water was plentiful. The 'full' breakfast was more European than typical American fare, but I made do with yogurt and raisin bran. It was quiet and peaceful and close to laundry and grocery facilities.
Basic, no frills, as expected from a Days Inn but was clean and in a good location. I especially appreciated the managerâs giving me the number of a local driver who shuttled me back to my car in Harperâs Ferry after hiking the MD AT. I donât think breakfast was provided but prefer a good coffee shop (like the one a couple hundred yards away) anyways.
The breakfast was the worst ever nothing there but waffles and toast, coffee undrinkable no juice water just terrible coffee!
In the morning upon waking up at 5 AM loud truck starting in the parking lot people calling out to other people on their way to work and then when I get up, I find cigarette ashes all over my car, leaving white spots from the morning too having to get it washed upon leaving Clean hotel Buff filthy outside
Overall it wasa nice experience. The staff was nice to me, the cleaning guy was really nice and friendly, he made me feel better when I was feeling down. I was able to get in, work on my music and leaving was simple and quick. Only thing I didn't like was the constant sirens and sounds from the neighborhood all night. Mornings weren't that bad though. Especially quiet on weekdays.
