An absolutely fantastic property. The owner gives world class and customized customer service. I could not rate the priority, and experience higher. Five stars does not do our group of classmates, veterans etc. had. Highly recommended.
Absolutely stunning place! Super clean upon arrival and decorated perfectly for Gettysburg! After long hours of walking in the heat of the summer, it was perfect to come home to a cold house! I was initially worried about the house size and whether or not the AC was going to cool the house effectively with only window units but it was not an issue at all! Beds were very comfortable and there was enough space for our entire family! (5 adults and 5 children). We routinely go to Gettysburg for our family trips and will definitely be back!!
Our party of ten stayed for a single night to spend a couple of days in Gettysburg. The house is a little less than half a mile to the center of town, very easy to walk. We had a large 12 person van and had no difficulty parking this in the lot adjacent to the house. The house is charming and very spacious.
We came down with our living history crew tontour gettysburg. Everything went well. Hoouse was everything it was listed as. Location great short distance everywhere where we had to go
We stayed for Gettysburg College parents weekend with 3 other couples. The house was great with plenty of space for everyone. The house is conveniently located and within walking distance to campus and to the downtown area. Highly recommend!
This property was large and comfortable for 3 couples. It was a short walk to the town center. Plenty of seating for all. Some areas needed little tlc, but overall a very good place to stay in Gettysburg!
It was very nice, well kept and love how old it was. Location was a little father than it indicated. Maybe more seating in the living room. Not many places when everyone was hanging out.
This property is located in a perfect area from which to explore Gettysburg. I rode my bike to several sites and walked to local pubs and stores. The house itself, though not from the Civil War era, does have that feel. The three bathrooms were nice. It needs a few updates, especially to the Google Home set up, but we got along fine without it. Some doors were hard to close. Overall we loved it.
Unique and beautiful home close to historic sites, dining and shopping.
We are a family of 5 adults and 3 children, the youngest is 3. My husband is a Civil War buff and he loved that we could walk to so many historic sites. The house was beautifully decorated, spacious, with a lovely kitchen and a big dining room where we were all able to sit and eat meals. The bedrooms were comfortable and bathrooms were lovely. Also the house was cool and comfortable when we came home from a long, hot day of walking the battlefield. We also sat on the front porch in the evening. The host was very responsive to our needs and questions. Overall we a great stay!
Overall the house was in a great location with plenty of room for a large family. However, it is just off the main road, so there was a lot of road noise at night. Nothing that can be helped being so close to town. It was comfortable and weâd be happy to stay there again.
