This was not a nice place to stay. It looked okay, like a reasonable mid-range hotel from the outside. But it's a weird place -- like an abandoned research facility or something. To get to our room, we had to go down a concrete corridor and then our room, which felt like a re-purposed meeting room, was off another concrete plaza. Very unappealing. Room furniture and decor was nice -- they did their best with that -- but couldn't make up for how grim the overall property seemed.

Close to shopping. Staff were friendly and accommodating, Access to rooms can mean a lengthy walk and there is no elevator for the second floor. The suites at the front have a lot of noise from the street.

Has Some Issues

The place eas actually pretty good except the kry card was nothing short of a pain in the you know what. Even the maid told me they tempermental and tricky at best. So I'm not sure if the unit on the door needs new batteries or just to be replaced but it needs ATTENTION ! (Room 207). The rest of the place is a 4 star. Even though you have to drive to Tim Hortons to get your breaky, it was still good. If not for the key issue that they could not seem to fix during my 3 night stay, I would have rated it as a solid 4 star ☆☆☆☆

It was good, room was clean and staff we interacted with were courteous. A HUGE negative for us was we had a Do not Disturb sign on our door and they came into our room while we were out. They took towels, replaced them with less, emptied garbage and took our recycling. If we wanted the service, we would have asked for it. We felt very disrespected by this.

My experience was significantly impacted by a lack of sound insulation. My room shared a common door with the one next to it, and the late-night noise from the neighboring guests (from approximately 10:45 PM to 2:30 AM) prevented me from getting any sleep before my early morning work day at 5:00 AM. When I contacted the front desk for assistance, the employee was dismissive and unhelpful. She told me that the hotel rooms are not designed to be noise-resistant and that changing my room would not guarantee a quieter environment. This response was disappointing, as I was seeking a solution to a problem that greatly affected my stay. The hotel should consider addressing this issue to ensure guests can have a peaceful night's rest.

Although hotel is a little older, it is very clean and can see they work to maintain it. Really nice pool, but the need to re do the pool rules sign. Didn’t like that the office is only opened limited hours, and not enough coffee pods in the room and nowhere to get any since the office was closed.

The hotel decided to rip out and replace the hot tub floor in the summer with no warning. The noise made it impossible to enjoy it, the pool, the sauna and even the gym, all of which were reasons we decided to stay here. Included breakfast = Tim Horton's vouchers. Rooms were comfortable enough. Overall, just not so great.
