My daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights when we came to Glasgow for TRNSMT. We loved the apartment it had everything we needed. It was well equipped including full size fridge, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, iron and a safe you didn’t have to pay extra for! It was in perfect position for TRNSMT and the shops. We will definitely stay again.

Great aparthotel. Good laundry facilities and gym was decent for cardio (not enough weights and what’s there seem to leave black streaks everywhere!). The only annoying thing is that our room’s thermostat keeps switching off and restarting. It’s a pain as we are staying here in the middle of a heatwave (up to 29 deg). Otherwise, the breakfast was fine, laundry was good, plenty of lifts and kitchen has plenty of appliances (but no salt or pepper!).

Know the quirks of UK travel

Great location but noise from bars on the street and smokers outside the front door. Tolerable. Everything you need for your stay. Be aware that A/C doesn’t work at night. Also the TV shuts off randomly maybe 10min in maybe 50min. When I mentioned this to the front desk on leaving they say it was energy conservation being green. Annoying!

Very disappointing stay

This is a very overrated hotel, we were not given the bedding needed for the sofa bed after arriving late. Even when we did get the bedding the next day you have to make up the bed yourself and it’s not comfortable at all, both from the mattress and pillows make it very difficult to get a good nights sleep. The apartment itself is tiny, really really small once you set up the sofa bed there is no space to move around at all. The sink would not drain properly and all in all we had a really bad experience here, for the money it is definitely not worth it and it is incredibly overrated by other users. I think for 2 people it could be ok but for a family of 4 this hotel was not ideal at all and I would not stay again.

I liked: location was great, quite room even though in a very central city location. I didn't like: the bathroom was mostly equipped for handicapped people. No shelves to put my toiletries on, the mirror was too low (could only see up to my chin), the sink was ridiculously small with a lot of water ending up on the floor.

Very well designed room. Smooth check in. Pleasant lounge. Good sound insulation Would have liked instructions on how to change the temperature and switch on the towel rail heater - I never got to the bottom of their workings! Pointed out early on in our stay that there was no hot water to the kitchen sink and no plug, but this wasn't rectified.

The suite was roomy and quiet. No issues. Clean. Convenient for several days stay. The foyer was quite small and the pathway in and out through the foyer was quite narrow. It looked like the breakfast room was expanded at the expense of the front desk. Perhaps it needs rearranging - it’s awkward and small furnish a busy area. Outside is a bit grungy and could use some freshening up. I wonder if the side door on Dixon St was always the entrance?

Lovely

Very convenient, right in the centre. Large bathroom. A good kitchen to make breakfast or a simple meal. Comfortable beds. We were really happy with everything, only perhaps the gym could use a few mats.

I thought that the apartment was incredibly well appointed. I was surprised at how everything was done so thoughtfully, and it was very clean and quiet. However, the bed was very hard, making it difficult to sleep. They should invest in higher quality mattresses.
