Our suite had a lounge with a pullout sofabed and a sofa. There was no bedding for the sofabed and only 2 sets of towels for the 4 people booked. Staff sorted it out and brought extra bedding and towels.

Great room!

Stayed two nights, the room was clean and comfortable staff were friendly and accommodating. My only issue is the tea and coffee tray £350 for two nights to get two milks and two tea bags isn't really great I think the tray should accommodate to the night stays your staying. Overall great

Great hotel perfect location for the hydro. Check out is 12pm so we had a nice lazy morning then a swim and a sauna before checking out. Friendly staff and great facilities.

Very strong sewage smell in the bedroom / toilet

Unfortunately we had to complain about our bedroom which had a very strong sewage/toilet smell. Every effort was made by staff to relocate us and when that wasn’t possible - maintenance and housekeeping staff were sent up. I cannot fault the staff in the circumstances, Alan was particularly helpful and went out of his way to make sure we were well looked after during our short stay. If anything I am shocked that in 283 bedrooms there are only 2 accessible. This meant the staffs options were limited given I was travelling with a wheelchair user. My review reflects the maintenance requirements rather than the staff who were outstanding.

Have stayed here many times over the years but this will probably be my last. The staff are lovely, the room was clean but the smell of damp was very unpleasant. As we did not arrive till late, we accepted it and hoped we would get used to it. If anything it got worse and became nauseating by morning. The aircon may have helped but it was so loud and rattling that we had to turn it off. I believe the source was the wetroom. An all round disappointing stay. Hopefully a one off but I won’t be taking the chance again.

Reception staff and checkinall good as was porter at lift One lift not in use one of the other two was decidedly on its way out We pre ordered drinks and snacks for after our concert Drinks were warm and food was lukewarm and felt like it had been cooked some time ago. It definitely wasn’t fresh and hadn’t retained any semblance of freshness. Left most of it. Only preordered because it had been recommended to do so at checkin. Definitely wouldn’t do that again. Breakfast was excellent as was the service at breakfast. Check out no problem and the same lovely member of staff sorry didn’t get his name but he was training checked us out. Would still stay again it’s a perfect location.
