Paid extra at check-in for the buffet breakfast and it was awful - no hot food when we arrived downstairs, people in a queue waiting for the food to arrive from the kitchen and it would disappear very quickly as it was brought out in small portions. No bread and no pastries either. Staff seemed disinterested - definitely weren’t in a rush to bring the food out. Really disappointing considering our last stay was faultless. Our room was clean, the lady at check-in was lovely and the bar had a good atmosphere after the concert. It’s in a great location for events but the breakfast experience was really poor.

Staff was excellent and the room was clean. Very good location for OVO. The only feedback is regarding breakfast. We had an early train back and the breakfast lacked variety of healthy options. My husband and I are not keen on eggs made from liquid formula and there was no alternative. Disappointed for what we paid.

Whilst the location is good, staff are friendly and rooms are dog friendly, we were really disappointed with the lack of housekeeping. This is the second time that this has happened at this hotel. Three night stay, additional £15 per night cleaning fee for the dog, but no cleaning of the room. Had to ask for clean towels etc. Really poor.
