Comfort With An Old Town Feel

This hotel is in such a great location within walking distance to a wonderful market, saloon restaurant and a nice French bakery. Rooms are simple but spacious with super comfy beds and beautiful traditional furnishings. Will definitely make a return visit.

I love the Jack London Lodge. The rooms are always impeccably clean. The pool and hot tub are great although I wish the hot tub had slightly later hours. The location can’t be beat. Simple, unfussy, comfortable. My home away from home in Sonoma Valley.

Excellent stay

Lovely quiet, comfortable older motel. We traveled with another couple and both of us were very pleased. It was too cold to use the pool, but the hot tub was great! We loved being walking distance of a great market and the Jack London Saloon (we ate there 3 times 😊)

The property was a basic older motel with some nice upgrades. The room was adequate size but only had a bench to sit on other than the bed. Nice space for hanging clothes, etc. The bath/shower was upgraded, but there was only luke warm water when I showered. My spouse had hot water the next day. The weather was cold and rainy, so we didn't have a chance to explore the pool/spa area.

Perfect for a retired ladies getaway walkable to river views, hiking in the preserve or parks, drive to Sonoma Square for meals, better yet stay on foot on site for a great marketplace, authentic Pascal’s French Boulangerie/cafe, the Laurel Glenn tasting room for seated yummy knowledgeable wine tasting, the Mayo Fmaily Vineyard up the hill…driveable to all valley establishments but quaint and bucolic and friendly picturesque and historic. Conveniently, dine at London Lodge saloon for meals on foot or grab picnic groceries at the market - no DD required! In-room Kerri, soft plush sheets and mattresses not too firm…friendly housekeeping and greeter in office Bruce! Hot tub and unheated pool. Chef’s Kiss!

The Jack London Lodge gave a delightful peace of mind for a place to stay during my first adventures in California! The rooms are cozy and classy, enough space for my best friend and I to share comfortably. The property has many options for relaxation and fellowship. The Saloon next door and Les Pascals bakery are the perfect spots to pop in for excellent food and conversation! Highly recommend!!

Staff entered my Do Not Disturb room!

The only thing that REALLY bothered me was that I had a do not disturb sign on my door, but the staff entered my room anyway, while I was gone. I contacted management about the breach. They have not been responsive. The management and the rules at this establishment were rude and blunt. The sundries provided were little 25 cent tubes for shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer. Coffee was Costco Kirkland Brand.
