We happily celebrated our 42 anniversary here. This lovely home, grounds, walk to a sweet restaurant right on the lake, was beyond perfect! We will be back again!!!!Lindsey was amazing, answering every time we needed her.
A friend and I stayed for a long weekend and had a great time. The cabin was exactly as presented in the listing photos. The lake is phenomenal. Finding the cabin's dock was a but tricky, but there are detailed directions on how to find it on the ipad by the front door. Hint- take a picture of the directions to make sure you're in the right spot. We went out on the SUP a few times and spent a bit of time at the restaurant/bar down the street.3 Stars because we had trouble with the front door not closing securely. It's a set of double doors, and one of the doors is supposed to remain stationary, which the moving door would lock into. The stationary door somehow got loose, and when we locked the door, you could just pull both doors open, since they weren't anchored into something stationary. We tried to re-secure the door that's supposed to remain stationary but could not figure it out. I reached out to Lindsay via text with the number provided and never heard back form her, which was very disappointing.
We loved the style of the house and really enjoyed how close it was to the lake and that we could drive the golf cart there. The only thing that we didn't love was the smell of the water and that we felt very close to the neighbors. Overall great experience.
This home was beautifully set up. We really enjoyed cooking meals and relaxing in the hot tub. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great...it rained most of our stay. We took a few road trip and hung out in the house which was lovely. extremely low in the lake
Who knew paradise had an address at Lake Sacandaga? My wife and I just returned from what I can only describe as the grown-up version of a treehouse fantasyâexcept this one comes with a hot tub and wine glasses!
From the moment we pulled into the gravel driveway, this modern cabin had us at "hello." Or maybe it was the Smart Home system saying "welcome"âeither way, we were smitten! The interior feels like a Pinterest board came to life and had a baby with a luxury hotel suite. That king-sized bed? Let's just say we're now shopping for a new mattress at home.
The real star of the show is the screened deck, where we spent countless hours pretending to read books while actually just staring at the trees swaying in the breeze. Pro tip: The hot tub at sunset is basically a front-row seat to Mother Nature's own light show. We may have turned into prunes, but they were very happy, relaxed prunes!
The kitchen is better equipped than my first apartment (and cleaner too). We played master chefs with the fully stocked spice rack, though I'll admit our culinary masterpiece was just grilled cheeseâbut it was the fanciest grilled cheese ever made, thank you very much.
Only complaint is that time moves way too fast here!
Awesome spot close by a multitude of things. Spac, Six flags great escape, sacananga lake
Room for way more than the 3 I had prob great in the winter for skiing, snowboarding etc
