We loved our stay at Rose and Crown! The staff were so friendly. Our room had so much character, and was bigger than we would have expected. It was quite comfortable and surprisingly quiet (we were there midweek on a slightly rainy day). We also ate at the pub and really enjoyed our meal. We would stay again!

Room was clean and as described, plenty of bedding and towels, simple breakfast but freshly baked croissants was a win :) steep stairs up to our room and to the bathroom - it is noted on the description but high potential for slipping/hitting your head!

I had a great stay at the Rose and Crown, it was so convenient to where I had to get to daily. The staff were really friendly, I was on my own but felt very welcome. I had a great breakfast, I'm gluten free, but nothing was a problem.

Lovely old pub and guest rooms. Polite welcoming staff. Children loved the cosy little separate rooms and quirky low doors. Its a really old building but decorated really tastefully with everything we needed. Great breakfast too. Beer garden and menu looked great but unfortunately we didnt have time to try it out.

A lovely old pub. Quite simple but very clean and well furnished. The bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent. The blinds let light in which was a bit annoying, also being a pub meant a constant supply of noisy punters leaving, but this stopped at around midnight then it was lovely and peaceful. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Found a fabulous gem of a place to stay. Great value for money. Having the Juliet suite was a bonus for our family. Lovely breakfast in the morning provided with warm and friendly service. I would definitely recommend.

The single room was compact, well designed and nicely decorated. Breakfast was really good and more choice than I was expecting. Didn’t have room for the pastries after a carafe of juice, large bowl of berry fruit with yoghurt and a bacon buttie.
