Our stay was good overall. There were just a few things I wish were different! The pillows were very old and flat and there was pink mold in the grout on the shower wall. Our door wasn’t sealed properly so the wind kept howling from underneath it and shaking the door.

The property is old and you can hear a lot of your neighbors walking about plus the hot tubs were out of service. However the service was extremely friendly and welcoming, the rooms and grounds were very clean and you cannot beat the view from one of the private balconies. Not to mention being able to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean! Access to the beach meant the only reason to leave the property for the 3 days I stayed was to feed! Will stay again!

The pictures of the motel are extremely deceiving. You can tell what has been updated and what hasn’t. The only high point was the private beach.

Had a great stay in the “Lighthouse Condo” with our kids. It was much bigger than expected with a close trail straight out to the beach. Loved the view of the ocean from the kitchen and living room windows. A lot of little gift shops and places to eat within walking distance. Port Hole Cafe on the other side of town was our favorite place for lunch. The gift shop Flowers by the Sea has AMAZING homemade fudge. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed two nights. We enjoyed the walkway to the beach & the breakfast was good. The room had been somewhat refurbished, but the room wasn't entirely clean. Walls around sink were splattered with coffee, doors needed wiping down. It would be helpful to have towel hangers. Overall, it was satisfactory. Area outside room very much needed to be vacuumed (stairs & landings).

We booked this place for the hot tubs. They show hot tubs in all the picture collections. We get there and the hot tubs are not in use anymore. State requirements have made the hot tubs something they can’t keep going. Very disappointed in that as it was what we were looking forward to. The rooms were also not maintained well, dust and cob webs in the corners, outlets not working, etc. The staff was good and the proximity to the ocean was nice, just not a 5 star experience.

Not sure the reason for so may bad reviews. I thought they we're great. They accommodated my late arrival when I called ahead. I had no trouble getting into my room and settled. They Welcomed our two dogs and had a nice area for us to take our dogs and supplied bags for potty pickups. The access to the beach was awesome. The room was clean,the staff was helpful and the breakfasts were quite good for a continental breakfast. Everything about our stay was great I will be back

A place to sleep, splurge on the ocean view,

The hotel has ocean view rooms but I chose no view as I was solo and saving money. The room was comfortable enough but there are some updates needed. I could see full daylight under half the front door. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast bar was bare bones, but I’d never rate a hotel based on that. Im sure the ocean view rooms are more appealing just for the ocean. I stayed in room 404…
This was a non view room… I guess the renovations are going to the view rooms.
