Rhapsody resort is in a great location only steps from the main Esplanade and Surfers Paradise Beach which is spectacular. However there is a major construction project going on directly next to this hotel and the noise begins at just after 6 am and goes on all day. Impossible to relax or get any sleep. The project looks as though it will last the next several years. The interior of this hotel is wonderful but unfortunate about the noise.

Shower pole taped with duct tape. Shower head so strong it was impossible to use full strength without causing stinging of skin; necessitating adjustment of shower to poor water output. Single air conditioner remote used for both bedroom and lounge air conditioners; no instruction manual left and remote function button worn off so difficult to know one remote used for both air conditioners.

The view from the room was magnificent (level 31), exactly as in photos we saw during booking. The only down thing is the cleanliness, was not top notch.. and the smoke alarm that gets triggered with any food we make on the cooktop.. other than that everything else was nice and we would go again for sure..
