Elevator was out and no hope for repair. That is what the HS girl said at the desk. No warning or notice when we booked and all.
Other hotels sold out (graduation week- we were just visiting college campus tour) when we got there so we had to take the top Floor room. Walked 3 flights with a lot of luggage. Walked into the room finally- gross Dirty towel balled up in the corner of our âcleaned roomâ
, A/C nor heaters did NOT work. . Tried unplugging and reapplying - it was dead. TV dead also- it did not even come on or work but remote was fine. Called front desk-Staff was very young and attitude was âwho caresâ feel. Got us into another room with zero apology! Told her in addition the TV didnât work and she asked me to explain. I explained (it is dead) but also said it wasnât the main problem but maybe just look for yourself- lazy!. This new Room was better (all things worked) but I would never ever stay here again.
Beware the elevators have been out since the âbig stormâ and that was months ago. For over $200 per night this should have been a lot better experience. Time To restaff night shift- this is a college town , I bet there are 100 Better applicants in line for a job!!!
The room was ok. The pillows were a bit too big and hard. Also, when the staff came to clean the room, they didnât refill the coffee pods. No big deal. The biggest annoyance was that the elevators were not working all three days we were there.
The elevator was not working. I have a severe pulmonary disability and the only room I could get was on the 2nd floor. Took me over 30 minutes to get to my room. I could not take advantage of the breakfast in the morning since I could not go up and down the stairs. Additionally, I had diabetic supplies that needed to be refrigerated. The refrigerator in the room was unplugged. When I opened up the refrigerator it smelled horribly.
Elevator not working and we were on the 4th (top floor). Per check in nothing available on bc a lower floor which is hard to believe looking at the parking lot!
My room was very noisy being right by the laundry and ice machine. The women in the laundry room were very loud and made it difficult to sleep in the morning. The ice machine was very loud all night long. I will stay at LaQuinta next time.
The elevator was not working. I had a lot of trouble logging on to Wifi. When I called the front desk, they said the Wifi was troublesome when it was WINDY. Breakfast was OK at best.
The elevator was down so we had to carry our suitcases up and down the stairs. The hallways and lobby smelled really badly. The room was clean enough but one lamp wouldnât work. Staff was not very empathetic either. Didnât eat the breakfast because of the smell.
Elevator was out of service and we were never notified via email or text. It wasnt that it was really problem for us. It was the elderly woman behind me with a suitcase
Elevators didnât work and signage was posted at the property, however, I saw no indication prior to booking. My son has knee surgery and is recovering through PT, I would have chosen another hotelâŠ.the smell was unpleasant The room was ok, toilet had hard water stainsâŠwent down for breakfast around 9:15, most items were gone and were not replenished.
