This is a wonderful historic property with a great history. It is nostalgic and cozy. Do not expect ultra modern, but all the amenities for a lovely stay are available. The property is well kept and serene with indoor and outdoor spaces for dining. Every staff member was exceptionally friendly and helpful when needed. I wanted to extend my stay and the hotel staff made it happen when Expedia could not. The train to the Grand Canyon is accessible with just a short walk across the walkway. I have a service dog and he was treated like part of the family by the Spencer's Pub staff. Can't say enough about the quality service. I plan to return for more vacation time often.

This hotel was nice and a convenient location of an hr away from the Grand Canyon Park. I heard the train ride is amazing but, we didn't have enough time to ride it as it leaves by 9am.

Older accommodation-to me the photos gave the impression of a grand railway station-basic lobby. Restaurant attached does not allow to go breakfast only a sit down buffet. Omelet station was a hit with the kids.
