Accueil sympathique, Lodge de charme au cĆur de la ville, tout est accessible Ă pied. Lit petit c'est dommage d'autant plus que la chambre est grande.
Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Lighting was a little strange, no bedside lights.
They emailed us a code to use to open the room door but it did not work. Had to get another code. Friendly, however.
Electric receptacle in bathroom did not work, would not reset. Had to plug in elsewhere to dry hair.
Shower would benefit from grab bars.
Great location. Clean and quiet room. Fantastic tacos at the food truck out front.
I really wish they did not put that plug in air freshner in our room. Took me hours to discover the cause of the very strong fragrance. Opened the windows and then it was too cold. Not enough blankets.
Lone Eagle was relatively basic but cost effective. Itâs location is excellent for access to downtown Grad Lakes and the west entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park.
The shower was unusable. The shower head didnât work correctly so only a dribble of water came out. Office hours are extremely limited so no way to ask for help.
The parking lot needs upgraded and striped. The room was not freshened during my 3 day stay. The drains for the sink and shower were not very clean. The shower curtain had a stail or funky smell. I will not stay at this lodge again.
Nice area and was exactly as advertised. It was very quiet, and very clean. There was a mix up with reservation but it was taken care of easily.Stay was one night and we were headed to national Park early am so met our needs.
1st - the code i was emailed didn't work. I had to find the email in my phone and call the number to get a new code.
2nd - there is no a/c and the ceiling fan wouldn't run without making a terrible noise so there was no white noise to fall asleep to.
3rd - the bed was super comfortable! but...
4th - the walls are paper thin and i could hear everything going on around me and out in the courtyard.
5th - it sounded like a furnace gurgling in the walls at various times throughout the night. I couldn't figure out what or where those sounds were.
6th - this is major, the heater in the bathroom was missing a cover and there were exposed live wires wit wire nuts sticking out. Not a problem for me BUT it could be a serious issue for children. not cool.
7th - there was a taco stand right there i wish i would have known about. i was so upset smelling that good food after I had already eaten coming into town :)
It was a rough night to say the least..
BUT it was super convenient to wake up and hit RMNP right away.
The room was AMAZING!
We Enjoyed our overnite stay.
The help was Very Nice!
Not much English!! We did get to check in Early. A Plus. A staff member tried to come in our room after 11 pm!! Manager was SLEEPING at 9 am. So could Not talk to the manger!
Check-in was an adventure - after navigating the touch pad entrance system we found ourselves locked inside with a door alarm sounding because the door system malfunctioned/ broke as we were about to leave for dinner. Our isolation fortunately was short lived as staff responded reasonably quickly to a phone call to resolve our dilemma and moved us to another room. The room itself was fine if a little undersupplied - eg no bedside reading light. I guess I am just too old fashioned and expect an office staff to be on site - we had to access the office again by touch pad in the morning just to get ice for our water bottlesâŠso not a fan of off site management.
I arrived at the Lone Eagle about 2 hours early and wanted to check to see if an early check in was available. There was a young person, maybe high school age, who said he could help. He made a phone call to someone and spoke with them in Spanish and said yes, I could in fact check in. We walked over to the room to find the door partially open. The room appeared fine, however, the code provided in an email to me for the door lock didnât work. The boy helping me then provided me with another code that did in fact open the lock. The room was clean but not very secure. The dead bolt lock could not be fully engaged from inside the room. The door jam was damaged which prevented the bolt from engaging completely. The office area was available to access with a code if needed but there was no one there full time. Fortunately, I had no need for any services. The cost of my one night stay much too high for what was available.
I was under the impression that this property was in a really nice area, waterfront with boardwalk w/ beautiful patio & nice comfortable spacious rooms as shown on the advertisement thatâs why I didnât mind paying $260 per night. What we got was a tiny space with a really small shower, with cheap toiletries. The first thing we noticed were stains on the bed sheets, linens didnât smell fresh or clean, there were no amenities, no staff, drinking water at the Lobby did not work.Parking lot had puddles of water due to very poor driveway or parking conditions. I slipped on loose gravel & lighting was poor, no attendant to help. Definitely not what I expected since I paid $260 per night. Iâve stayed in Paris for less on a wonderful hotel full of amenities. I donât recommend this place at all.
