The walls between rooms need to be insulated because you can hear every move or word from the next room! There is no lighting in shower and the shower curtain was not adequate. The room was clean and cozy other than that!
I canât rate staff as it is a self check in property and no staff on site. The room was not very clean, very musty, dusty and the shower area was so dark could not see. It is old and rustic which is fine but did not appear that upkeep and daily maintenance was a priority.
A renovated hotel that was pleasant for an overnight stay with a wonderful view of Grand Lake. Bed and the couches in the front room of the Executive suite were very comfortable. For being off of the main highway into Grand Lake it was still quiet.
My Wife and I had a great Stay and Everything was easy going from Booking to allowing our Pets to come and stay as well.
Also Nena who is the Caretaker/House keeper was extremely helpful and very Friendly. We did not get a Chance to say Thank you due to us leaving so Early and will also be mailing a Thank you card with Appreciation tip for all her help. We love visiting Rocky Mountain National Park and Grand Lake. We will definitely be booking a stay next year when we come back to Visit. We are from The Western slope of Colorado so the Trip to Grand Lake was not long!
Thank you again for a great place to stay and Friendly service.
A rundown, dirty, old motel. Smelled of cigarette smoke and dog upon entering. Burnt out bulb in lamp, dim lighting, sink backed up, toilet ran off and on all night. Numerous spiders and other bugs. Do not stay here.
Dripping sink faucet, unclean shower walls. Host on site at time of check in didnt speak english but used translation phone to ask if I could go to a store to get tortillas.
