I have never left a review but this hotel charged me for my service dog. By law, service providers are not allowed to ask for certification, what my disability is, or for identifying vests or tags …but they asked for all 3. I only stayed here to get a massage but of course there were no openings available. Since I’m never asked for these things I don’t carry them nor find it necessary.

Loved the suite. One of the most spacious I've ever had in a hotel. We were so disappointed that the room we had booked wasnt available, but the upgrade to the suite made our stay absolutely amazing. Will stay at the podallan everytime we come to grande prairie.

In this hotel they excel at the big and little things. It’s very clean and the staff are top quality. It has one of the best free breakfasts I’ve ever come across too. They have some small touches that I love. A lot of hotels have gotten rid of those little bottles of shampoo, conditioner, lotion and have replaced it with the units attached to the wall - I love how this place has kept those lovely little bottles for guests. I appreciate the ceramic coffee mugs they have in the room because you feel more at home. A lot of hotels have also gotten rid of room service (even when they’re is full restaurant on site)- this place has room service with real plates and cutlery brought with your meal. Nothing says “we prefer convenience over customer service” when other hotels with room service bring your food up in a styrofoam container and your drinks in a paper cup - I might as well order through doordash. This place is so wonderful in that extra step of care. I just wanted the hotel to know that people notice these lovely little things that they do. Thank you so much !

Not a very pleasant experience at this hotel. Desk area in room was left with sticky residue that needed to be wiped up. Elevator doors are extremely noisy and slightly annoying. If you want a coffee you need to get it at the front desk, when they're busy it takes a while, should just be able to help.yourself imo.
