Our stay was ok

The positives- the room was clean and modern. The staff was clean and friendly. The area is very convenient and close by everything! We had problems with the locked, had to try a few times. For an accessible room, the door was heavy. Had to request the bench shower seat that was advertised. The breakfast was subpar. It really delayed our plans to have to go out for breakfast. I didn’t just want to eat toast and pancakes and I’m allergic to eggs.

Stay was nice. Breakfast area was cramped busy no place for us to sit for breakfast. Pool area is very slippery I almost fell trying to get to the pool.

Third year we have stayed at the property. Room conditions have deteriorated. Bathroom was dirty. Tile grout was black with dirt. Shower pan was also filthy. AC unit also needed service, way too loud. It’s a beautiful property, but needs significant deep cleaning.

Rooms were clean, although there was a weird smell in the hallways. The breakfast was a little disappointing as there was not a lot of options and pancake machine was not working. Loved the friendly staff!

Right by the highway, easy to get in and out. Alot of dining options in the area.. Rooms, Bathroom, and Breakfast is nice. Only negative is the floors in the room needs to be clean. My socks quickly was covered in pet hairs hours checking in. Will come back whenever I travel up north though

We booked this hotel to attend a wedding in the area. Knowing we would be tight on time for the wedding, I asked ahead of time if we could push the check-in time ahead. They told me that I could try calling day of to see if there is any rooms available. Day of, I called three times before I got someone to pick up. I asked her if I could check-in early she said she could only check in-person. We head over in-person and she said "No there are no rooms" deadpanned with no apology. We explained our situation, how we needed to get ready for the wedding if there is anywhere we can change and shower even if it isn't our final hotel room. She rolls her eyes and says "Well, you should've booked a room last night...". I have never been talked to before with so much disrespect before at a hotel, so certainly this is a first. We ended up booking a motel nearby just to shower in. When it finally came to check-in (mind you check-in is at 3PM) at 3:45PM, she says "No there are still no rooms available." I am confused!? I paid for this hotel and almost one hour after check-in they don't have my room ready. I ask if there is anything else I can get, she replies saying they're all booked out. So I couldn't even get my room until after the wedding at almost 1AM. Overall, I would go to another hotel. Place is clean but if you are inconvenienced at all they will do nothing to make up for it and they don't seem to care about your satisfaction.

Great location. We came from the UP and stopped in Gaylord for a couple nights. Heading to Interlochen for a couple of weeks. Our room was super clean and very comfortable. In our travels we tend to stay at the Hilton (pet friendly) Haven't had a bad experience yet.
