The house was super clean. Kitchen was full stocked with pot, pans and things. Plenty of extra pillows and blankets in the closets. Coffee selection was amazing! Water pressure was great!
This house is well kept, with plenty of room. We had 12 in our party and could have squeezed a few more if needed. The home was clean and i loved the old carnival theme throughout the house. some of the pics creeped out my grandkids but it made our stay a lot of fun. driving through the neighborhood wasnt what i expected, but there were no issues, and it was a quiet neighborhood. You cannot beat the price, plus the coffee was great and had a kitchen with all you needed to make meals.
The place was VERY clean; queen & king bedrooms were comfy; plenty of mugs & decent kitchen equipment (coffee set up included drip machine & kurig single brewer, blender, crock pot, bakeware, great knives, cutting boards); laundry machines worked & gas grill. Free onstreet parking in a quiet residential neighborhood w/ quick access in either direction to grocery stores, restaurants, shopping. Fun & eclectic decorations. GREAT for 8 people!Says it sleeps 13, we had 10. Only 9 chairs to pull to table, 10 or of dinnerware (plates, bowls, silverware), 10 bath towels (less washclothes). Technically can get 11 bodies on mattresses (not counting living room pull out sofa), but only 9 comfortably because twin bedrooms weren't fully functional. Bunkbed room was awful! A ceiling fan was inches over top bunk (noone could sleep there w/ fan on). Bottom bunk mattress was so high, only small people comfortably fit (our 6' son rolled in & out & said it was like sleeping in a coffin); the trundle was fine. The daybed trundle room works for couples or kids. The room is small - trundle filled the room & the mattresses were tight up against eachother (person in daybed climbs over person in trundle to get out).Electric wiring: master, twin & second living room were on same remotes & switches, so turning off lights/fan in one room turned them on in another.Backyard patio has unfinished brick edge going down hill fall risk for kids, elderly, etc.Accurate listing is for 9 people.
I was coming from 8 hours away for a funeral. 2 hours before I was set to arrive, about an hour from check in time, Ali called to tell me the prior renters had trashed the place and they could not rent to me. Understandably, this was upsetting but also not Ali's fault. What they could have warned me about was the multiple messages sent via the app from the property owner asking what time I planned to check in, confirming I had gotten into the property okay, confirming what time I was going to check out, asking how my stay was...it caused extreme anxiety that the property manager had not communicated to the property owner or VRBO about the issues. I ended up getting a full refund (which would be expected since this was not a fault of mine) but this was not great communication from the property owner, manager, or VRBO. Again, I think a fluke but worth noting for others that the property owner, management company, and VRBO do not appear to be in contact with each other.
We traveled to Greensboro to attend an event at the Coliseum. The house was in an older, but nice neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay and the house had everything we needed while we were there.
Barking dogs in neighborhood and bathroom problems
The house was okay, everything was pretty clean. The backyard is spacious but it is on a big steep hill. 2 of the neighbors have multiple dogs that are outside barking very often. Also, during our stay the bathrooms stopped working. One flooded and the other wasnât draining at all. The host was very slow to respond and didnât resolve it, we ended up just dealing with it until we checked out the next day. I would stay again if the bathroom issues were resolved. Otherwise a nice property and the neighbors were kind.
Our group participated in the collegiate challenge with Habitat for Humanity. This location worked well for our group and was close to our work projects everyday.
Very clean, bright, spacious, very quiet, restfull.
Very unique and beautifully decorated, a nice safe residential neighbour hood with driveway parking for two vehicles
. I stayed here with a group for a martial arts tournament and the space was everything we needed.
I definitely recommend and would stay here again
The property was excellent! We enjoyed our stay! Everything was clean and the decor was cute! Everyone was happy and comfortable! I would highly recommend this location for any group!
We rented the home for my son's High Point University graduation. It ended up working out great! The house layout is good for a large group with plenty of beds. The front yard and neighborhood and were great too. The backyard has a patio area with grill. The extended backyard does slope down but we didn't use that part of the yard. Great time had by all! Thank you.
Very Clean and spacious. The decor made for a great conversation piece. The neighborhood is older and appeared to be a little questionable based on the upkeep of the neighbor's homes. However it was very quiet. We would definitely stay again.
Seems like itâs old student accommodations turned boutique hotel. Room was beautifully decorated and comfortable, but walls were thin. Parking is available but there were not enough spaces for all the rooms, so while we managed to get a space when we first arrived, after returning late in the evening we had to park on a residential street and walk half a block. Would not prevent us from retuning though. Neighborhood is quiet and is a 20 min walk to main town.
