By far, one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in a hotel with it being said there was shall we say humanly bodily fluid on the couch we ordered a balcony room, and the balcony door would not even open all of our lamps with flicker unless we fully plugged them in at the top it off we go to check out and as soon as we get all of our stuff on the luggage rack and wheel out the door, the power goes out and they say they’re having renovations to the hotel with no warning I would say I will never stay at a place like this again. It would recommend all my family and friends never to stay at this place.

The young woman that checked us in was amazing and very patient. Unfortunately, I am horrible with means, but I will recognize her anywhere. The battery in our door need to be replaced so our key cards were not working and she tried her hardest to get it to work and she called maintenance. They came, they saw and they replaced it. She really did try to make it a good experience which she accomplished.

It was impossible to park during the snowstorm. The parking lot was unable to be accessed by a normal front wheel drive vehicle due to the incline not being properly plowed. No alternatives provided. Needed to park offsite and a good distance away. No accommodations made when we needed help. Got stuck in snow, and no help provided by facility to assist with our vehicle. Outdated, old furniture. No elevator. Very uncomfortable stay/experience for the high price point.

4Points Sheraton: Not Perfect, but Perfect for me!

I extended my stay by one night 3times because i did not want my staycation to end. The place is the right size to feel anonymity when breezing thru the lobby AND to feel you’re being personally looked after by the warm front desk staff (Thank you for everything, Simone). There was a rare Carolina snowfall just before/during my stay, and it was disappointing that, even after several days, the steep asphalt hill leading up to the parking lot, as well as the parking lot itself, were still covered in a thick sheet of ice, posing a hazard to every guest and employee who had to walk or drive thru it. The rooms are perfectly appointed (maybe a little crowded in the King room since squeezing between the bed and tv became murder on my shins a few times. Not Sheraton’s fault that I’m clumsy though.) I had a few exchanges with the housekeeping supervisor (whose name I can’t recall) but whose exemplary work ethic made immediately clear the reason she’d been promoted to this position. What a leader!) so above & beyond helpful is her talent for anticipating the needs of others before the need even arises. One more thing. The breakfast I had would have been perfectly satisfying had it been free/included. But for $25 I felt I’d been price gouged. Not a good feeling to inspire in a customer. Service tho was polite and attentive. Kitchen was slooow. But I’ll be back the next time I need to escape the chaos of everyday life.
