Very disappointed. I reserved 3 rooms. I needed to cancel due to a medical issue. I didn't have an issue with paying a cancellation fee, but the fee was for the full stay for 3 rooms at an elevated "special event" price . This was pretty unreasonable to me. Onsite management refused to make an exception or negotiate a reduced fee....very uncooperative and unprofessional management team. In addition, they charged my card before my cancellation request or check-in. That said, this left me with a very negative view of IHG and I will no longer recommend this hotel in Greensboro, NC or other hotels under the IHG brand.

I came down for Winston-Salem State Homecoming. The property was awesome. From the receptionist at the front desk, to the breakfast and the person responsible for the upkeep..it was spot on. I did not have the spend money on breakfast because the food was good. Great location, room was clean, comfortable and those bed oh wee..I will be back for another stay.

The breakfast was good, but my room smelled like stinking feet and bleach. I could tell they cleaned the room, the beds were comfortable, but the carpet reeked of smelly feet. We went out and bought our own lysol spray to try and kill the smell, didn't work. I would suggest getting the carpets cleaned or replaced. Also, housekeeping neglected to leave towels and washcloths in our room after our first night there. They removed all of the dirty things, but didn't replace them and we didn't realize until the next morning we had to call the front desk for them. He told me to come to the front desk to pick them up. I was not going down stairs in my night cloths so He finally decided to bring them to my room. The bed was so comfortable.
