Outlet by toaster was out of the wall, toilet rocked back and forth pillows had yellow stains on them all the dishes we used we had to was first they where greasy
Wonderful cozy cabin and beautiful location. However living room accommodations were very uncomfortable. Day bed was not appropriate as a couch and chair springs are shot.
But still a nice place and would stay again.
Perfect space to escape reality for a few days. Small cabin but enough space to comfortably relax and enjoy it with my partner and pup. Dock area is nice with a sandy spot to swim. Close to the small town of Greenville with plenty of restaurants and things to do. Definitely will be planning a trip to come back!
The cabin was very clean, quaint, and we loved the location. However, customer service through Vacasa was horrible. We will never book another property managed by this company.
The cabin is ultra clean, organized and very guest friendly with all the amenities.
Beds were very comfortable, nice fireplace and donât get me started about the view!!!! Itâs amazing!!!!!!!
Definitely a summer go to destination, without a doubt.
.
Great location and view. Close to Greenville but just far enough away. The view of Moosehead Lake is breathtaking! The cabin is a bit outdated and old but very quaint and clean. Nothing fancy but for the cost, not bad. Would stay here again.
The property was on the lake and had an outstanding view of the water. You could easily walk out on the deck that also was facing the lake. Looking at the inside of the cabin it seemed dated and could have used more up to date decor. There was a cobweb that was very obvious and shelves that were dusty. When I crawled into bed there was sand all over the inside of the sheets on one bed so I moved to another that wasn't sandy. And the Wifi did not work the entire time I was there. I was told they couldn't do anything about it but they did advertise that they had Wifi. She offered me a few dollars off but that was and insult to the disappointment in the facility.
This cabin served our needs well. It was sufficiently stocked with basic house/kitchen supplies. It made for a comfortable home base for taking in the local sights and wildlife. Thank you!
This was a lovely, homey, comfortable place. Very dog friendly. Great sunsets on the deck or the dock. We were able to tie our boat to the dock and explore the lake from a cove we hadnât stayed in before. Well stocked for kitchen gear but if you plan to cook bring your own spices; there is next to nothing there and during busy season the local grocery store is hit or miss. Plan to live out of your suitcase, the built in drawers are screwed shut. Internet was out for our entire visit so be prepared for non-electric entertainment just in case. Not a hindrance for us but might have been frustrating for the kids if they had been with us.
We had a great stay. The camp was just as we imagined it could be, right on the water. Beautiful sunsets. Knotty pine walls and ceilings. A brand new deck to sit on. Even had a gas stove if needed when it was cold. Nice ceiling fans in every room. Could swim or fish from the doc with a sandy beach.
We stayed many times on Moosehead Lake On the water. This was a very nice quiet location as you were away from town and the noise, but only a five minute drive to all town amenities. We did see deer and a moose on a ride up to kokadjo! The sunsets here are unbelievable! We stayed in cabin 1 on the water, and there were others staying in the duplex behind us. It was a younger crowd but they did respect our privacy and quiet time. The cabin is on one floor which was very nice. We had what we needed but it was at a minimum, some updating of appliances in addition to adding drinkware may be in need. The cleaning wasnât perfect, probably because we were the first ones this season. It wouldâve been nice to have some Windex to clean the slider. The beds were comfortable and they left plenty of towels. The dressers that are in the bedrooms are locked or full of extra bedding, so plan to live out of your suitcase. There is a small area with hangers. There is Wi-Fi here so that is a plus, but you will just want to sit on the front deck and listen to the loons. We would stay here again in the future.
The cabin was very clean and just what the website said. We had a wonderful time. The view was beautiful! Roads to cabin and parking lot, depending on month you stay, were a little muddy but we made it through. Really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Worth every penny and hope to return.
This lakefront property was just what I needed to escape holiday stress. It was a charming space with a cozy fireplace and spectacular lake views replete with picture perfect sunrises and sunsets. It was a quick drive to several restorative hikes with awe-inspiring views of Moosehead Lake and Prong Pond. I would most definitely return.
My husband, myself and our dog had a wonderful stay at this cottage on Moosehead Lake. The big picture windows and deck gave us a front row seat to a gorgeous view of the lake and sunsets. Access to the dock was also nice. Kitchen and bathrooms were small but perfect for us, the gas stove kept us cozy on cool nights. We loved it and hope to return.
The cabin was clean and cute! Really nice area right on the lake.
The water was so clear and great for swimming. If the weather was better, the deck and dock would have been amazing ! There is another house on the property right behind this cabin with 2 units and all share the one dock. We had bad weather the whole time, but the internet was fine and we watched tv and played board games that were provided. The King size bed was very comfortable.
