Ce chalet est situĂ© dans le paisible village de Harford's Point avec un accĂšs partagĂ© au lac Moosehead Ă  seulement cinq minutes Ă  pied. Profitez d'une journĂ©e de baignade et de kayak et d'une soirĂ©e de grillades et assis au coin du feu. Les cerfs de Virginie sont des visiteurs frĂ©quents Ă  la maison! Il y a des sentiers de randonnĂ©e juste derriĂšre la cabane qui explorent Harfords Point. Il y a un parcours de golf de 9 trous qui est Ă  seulement trois kilomĂštres. Vous ĂȘtes Ă  une courte distance du centre-ville de Greenville oĂč vous pourrez profiter de boutiques et de restaurants uniques qui donnent sur East Cove. Pendant que vous ĂȘtes en ville, vous pouvez rĂ©server des safaris Ă  l'orignal et des promenades en avion pittoresque ainsi que des voyages de pĂȘche ou des promenades en VTT. Le chalet a une cuisine bien Ă©quipĂ©e, laveuse / sĂ©cheuse et tĂ©lĂ©vision par satellite ainsi qu'un grill extĂ©rieur et une cheminĂ©e. Tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour des vacances reposantes. Cabin was exactly as it was described. The host, Tara was available whenever needed throughout our stay. Beautiful weekend away in Maine to see the lake and fall foliage!

No Wi-Fi!! Wasn’t working and no one came to fix until we were leaving (weekend).The host was informative and helpful. Kitchen well stocked and furniture was somewhat comfortable. The location was good for getting around the area and close to town. There wasn’t any view from or much light coming into the cottage so it felt quite dark. The bed was a bit soft but linens were clean throughout. The rating of 3 comes from overall lack of cleanliness of the cottage. It needs a deep cleaning. Wash machine looked too dirty to wash clothes in. The overall cottage was very dated. The 12” TV in the BR was a joke. The LR TV was small.

Loved the cottage and location! Property was very clean and cozy and had everything we needed for a very relaxing beautiful stay! Not on the water but extremely close walking distance to path to get to the water and beautiful lake! We rented a canoe close by and were able to put the canoe in the lake easily and paddle around the very quiet and peaceful lake and enjoyed the views! The property manager Tara was excellent and made sure we had everything. Also close to store/market Indian Hill Trading Post to get anything you needed. I highly recommend!

A lovely place with lots of amenities close to shopping , medical facilities and vets if you have a pet. Good food nearby . If you love off roading it’s awesome . The cabin is clean , WiFi and sat TV . Beds are super comfy and a washer dryer . Highly recommend the Benson Cottage .

Very nice cabin, clean and spacious with 2 bedrooms 1 bath with shower-lots of amenities like washer-dryer, lots of cooking supplies-pans, microwave, etc. Plenty of parking and pretty outlook across road to lake-association beach 5 min walk.

This is the second summer that we have stayed here. It is perfect for us as we have family living near by. The cottage is very clean, and exceptionally well stocked! The beds are comfortable and there is an excellent supply of fresh bedding and linen. The property manager is very responsive and helpful.

Absolutely love this cabin. This was our third time staying here. Love the neighborhood and proximity to town. Cabin is perfect for my family. My teens were super excited that it now has a wifi connection. Tara, the property manager, does an amazing job of communicating and maintaining the property. Highly recommend!

We should have booked a second week!

Nice location; close enough to town yet far enough away to be quiet. Felt very comfortable and very at-home at Benson Cottage - a great place to unwind and enjoy what Nature and the Moosehead Lake region have to offer. Our host, Tara, was friendly, easy to communicate with and kept the cottage well-stocked and clean. We wanted for nothing. I sure hope we can come back before too long!

Greenville Junction vacation

Wow! A wonderful place with all the immenities. Great location to go off roading and the lake is beautiful. Our dog loved it . Beds were very comfortable and nice to have satellite TV that got a ton of channels. We will go back as we loved it.

Another great stay

As previous years, we really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. This property is well maintained and has everything you need for a simple stay. Still no WiFi and weak cell service which I like, but the family complains they have to actually talk to each other. Still a slight smell of moisture in the second bedroom but manageable since the whole area tends to be wet considering the surroundings. Tara is responsive and attentive when needed.

Perfect cabin for families

This was our second stay at this cabin and once again it was perfect. Everything is exactly as listed. It’s clean, cozy, and located just a short distance from the public access to the lake. Even my teenagers love it and they are hard to impress. We will definitely be back again.

Relaxing at Moosehead

Nice area to just rest and relax after several stressful months of work. The cottage has everything you need and is close to plenty of hiking, fishing, kayaking and swimming. Special shout out to Northwoods Outfitters for their assist with new kayak racks after mine broke on the trip up.

Eclipse viewing trip

Great cabin with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We came after a snow storm and the walkway and parking lot was cleared. A short walk to the beach provided the best view of the eclipse.

Relaxation Time

The Benson Cottage is a great place to kick back and enjoy some quiet time. It's close enough to town if you want to check out the shops and get some dinner, but far enough away to still enjoy the Northwoods of Maine. I will definitely be back
