Our family truly loved our stay at the Ponderosa cabin. Weâve visited Greer many times, and this cabin is easily as lovely as any weâve experienced in the White Mountains. It was exceptionally well-equipped with everything needed to cook and feel right at home.Even with the freezing Greer temperatures, the cabin stayed incredibly warm and cozy. Most importantly, the beds were fantasticâIâm a stickler for a good nightâs sleep, and this was a definite winner! Communication with the host and management was seamless; they were quick to respond and very helpful. Thank you for providing such a wonderful base for our ski vacation. Weâre already looking forward to returning this summer!
Accommodations were very nice, clean, well equipped for almost any cooking or grilling you want to do. Location is fantastic. Would definitely book again.
My family and I had an amazing time. The cabin had everything we needed.
2 families and we all had plenty of space. The location was the best. We will definitely be back!
Three adults and two children stayed comfortably. The bedrooms are split between the 2 floors with 2 up and 2 down and a bathroom on each floor. The front porch was very comfortable with cozy blankets, even in the rain. The foosball table on the loft was a big success. The 2-year old especially liked the big soft bean bag chair. We will be back.
Lovely location. Totally peaceful and quiet in mid-November. Snow at higher elevations, yet didn't limit our hiking too much. Lovely kitchen that was great for prepping our own meals. Fun games to play in the evenings. Very relaxing. Only drawbacks were no heating ducts to the upstairs, although plenty of covers to be warm, and poor lighting for reading in the living room after dark. Everything works, it is clean, neat and comfortable. Thanks for letting us stay.
The host and her staff were all so helpful and kind. The cabin is in a great location and has a big yard and the cabin sits back enough off the road it's easy to let kids play out front. Welcoming and huge wrap around deck which was great to watch the thunderstorms roll in or sit in the sunshine and bbq. Rooms are large and comfortable. The washer and dryer were great with little ones getting dirty and wet in the river not too far from the cabin. The kitchen has a ton of items including a coffee maker with a coffee bar, crock pot, instapot and more which we will remember for next time. Tons of dishes, silverware, cleaning supplies and whatever you need to keep the kitchen running smoothly. Also, tons of towels in both bathrooms as well as well stocked soaps and other ammenities. Tons of extra pillows and blankets in the closets for when it got chilly or someone wanted an extra pillow. One of the best cabins we've stayed in as far as noise as well. You don't hear the people on the second story walking around which is a huge bonus for sharing a cabin with little kids :) Thank you Annie and team for a nice getaway!
