It’s an OK hotel, but way way way overpriced for what you get. It’s very hot (no AC) so you need to keep the windows open, but the hotel lights an outdoor fire at night so the whole room smells like smoke. You are paying for the views and if you’re not looking out at the mountain, then it’s not worth it.

The property itself is gorgeous and well equipped. I booked for 1 night and only if I have more time to spend in the hotel. The only thing is the bar tender in the hotel is not polite at all and it seems he does not like to serve or be asked about questions. All the other staffers are exceptionally polite thoigh

The Sunstar Hotel was awsome!! We truley enjoyed our stay here. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable! I would definitely recommand this hotel and would stay here the next time I am in Grindelwald!
