Fantastic Beach Cottage

We had the best time at Gulf Shores. The owner was an excellent communicator, made everything smooth and easy. The beach cottage was very clean and so convenient - short walk to the beach (white sandy beach and not crowded, even on Labor Day weekend!), the pool was just a few steps away and our kids loved fishing off the dock, also just a few steps away. They caught pin fish and croaker. Highly recommend this beach cottage!!

A lovely Gulf Shores retreat

A friend and I, and our three kids stayed here for an end of summer getaway before all the kids returned to school. The location to the beach is fantastic, as was access to the pool. The cottage was perfect for us. It was very clean and well maintained. My only requests would be for more towels and a working dryer. 7 small towels in total for a house that can sleep ~8 was just too few. We were constantly doing laundry, and the dryer was so ineffective that each load took about three full cycles to dry. I would stay here again, but would want to see that the gone had more towels and a functioning dryer. We loved our stay!

Great location!

We stayed here during a recent baseball trip and loved the location as well as the property. It was far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to restaurants and the beach. The private pool for the home owners was great and the dock was a relaxing area to enjoy the views. (Wish we would have had more time to fish between games) The beach is about a 4 minute walk across the road but for a family I’d recommend a little collapsible wagon to tote your beach items with. Overall a great home that I’d definitely recommend to others.

Setup & Relax

We’ve stayed in a high rise before, but this was a far better option for the family. The pool is never overcrowded, the beach is a simple short walk away, and the views on the pier are absolutely tranquil. Only downside we experienced is that the blinds in the property don’t offer full privacy. We will 100% book this property again in the future.

Convenience Convenience Convenience! We loved our stay. My son & husband had a blast fishing off the dock! Easy walk to the beach. Says sleeps 8...we had 8 & it was tight. Made it work & it didn't dampen our trip. If you're older it may be difficult to get in the queen bed in 2nd room.

Fun Weekend Trip

We had a group of 6 women for a fun girls weekend, and we really enjoyed our stay! The cottage was adorable, the beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed the short walk to the beach or pool each day! Would stay here again for a quick trip to the beach.

Great vacation stay

Really enjoyed our time here. The unit was very clean, kitchen was equips with all the necessities and parking was easy. It was great to have the pool right there and easy to walk across the street to the beach. Traffic wasn’t bad for the most part since the location is well past the main drag. The beach was not crowded at all, and all the neighbors were very nice. We would definitely stay here again. The host was also very communicative and helpful before amd during our stay.

Perfection:)

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay at Tortuga Sunset. The property was clean. There was plenty of space for my husband and me, along with our 3 children (ages 13, 11, 6). The property was far enough away from the busiest parts of GS/OB to feel relaxing but close enough that you could be there in 5 minutes. Loved being right across the 2 lane highway from the beach; we never had an issue crossing due to traffic. My only regret is not knowing about this place sooner! Thank you, Kim, for a wonderful stay. We can't wait to come back!

Great location

Location is past all the busyness of hwy 59 and the hangout but still close enough that you can get there if you want. Easy access to the beach right across the street, has a pool and dock that is great to relax on. Slips for boats if you wanted to bring one. The only downside for me was the parking. Only 2 spots so if you have any one visiting they will have to find parking elsewhere

Great for little ones!

We stayed with two toddlers and had a great experience. The pool has a great little area for toddlers to play. We also enjoyed the short walk to the beach. Kim answered all our questions promptly. Overall, we had a great stay!

Amazing stay

This house is the perfect getaway! Lagoon and pool to the back, beach at the front. We love how new and clean everything is and the tall ceilings! Coffee on the balcony was the perfect way to start each day, play uno, and eat meals! We will be going back next year!

Check-in and communicating with Kim was so easy! The condo was clean and had a beautiful view from the patio. Great location and easy beach access! I would 10/10 stay here again! The only thing I'd suggest is to add extra supplies in the condo (ex: toilet paper, tissues, trash bags, etc.).
