Got it Good Beach Front House!

“Got it Good” is a one-story 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home located directly on the sugary white sands of the Gulf of Mexico in peaceful Surfside Shores. “Got it Good” is located just 14 miles down Fort Morgan Road from Highway 59 in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The great room provides breathtaking views of The Gulf of Mexico through a wall of windows. You’ll have plenty of seating for television viewing, playing games, or just relaxing.

The kitchen fully stocked with everything you’ll need to make yourself at home during your Gulf Shores vacation. Eat inside at the bar or table, or eat outside on the deck.

There are two bedrooms and a bathroom on either side of the great room behind pocket doors. Each gulf-facing bedroom has a king-sized bed and a great view. The East Wing 2nd bedroom is a bunkroom, with two sets of bunk beds. The West Wing 2nd bedroom has a queen-sized bed.

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood on a quiet street, but we do have one security camera facing the driveway and one camera on the side of the house facing the Gulf.

Walk from the great room onto the Gulf-front deck and relax in the sun or walk down the steps to the covered deck. There’s a swing downstairs and other seating. After playing on the beach, rinse off at the outdoor shower with hot and cold water.

Excellent weekend at the beach.

Took a family of 10 and we had plenty of room for everyone. The view was perfect. The water was calm. Overall a fantastic stay. If you want to relax and enjoy good ole family time. This is the place to go. 10 stars!

The kitchen/LR area was very large and accommodating for us (8 people). it was very cold outside, so the house was perfect for inside activities. The house was great, clean, and literally step right onto the beach! We had the best time and will def be back!!!!

You can’t beat the proximity of the beach! Kids 3-10 and not one complaint the whole time because you could just go back inside it was so close. Everything in the home worked great. My wife said she has to vacation like this from now on or she isn’t going

Perfect

The location was quiet, in Fort Morgan, on a beachfront property. The home is older, but has been redone on the inside. It met the needs of our family consisting of grandparents, parents, children, and an uncle. There are 4 bedrooms: 2 with king beds, 1 with queen, and a bunk room. We were pleased with the home and it's easy access and hope to return in the future.

Quiet neighborhood, fantastic location

This is an older house that has been partially renovated, so there are a few parts that are less than ideal, mainly the stairs and decking and bathrooms, but it didn't bother us, and the location and views and quiet neighborhood more than made up for it. The house was well stocked, and the layout was great. We had a lovely week here, and would definitely come back again! I also love that Instacart will deliver to this area now, and there are several good restaurants and a seafood market within 15 minutes of the house. We also rented a kayak from Fort Morgan Rentals for the week, and had a blast with our 4 kids.

Great location, house, and hosts

This is a perfect house for a family with various age children. We slept 10 comfortably. In addition, the location on Fort Morgan is the best you can ask for! We were beginning to feel overcrowded at Morgantown, but felt like we had plenty of space on the beach with this property. Will stay again!

Great home and location!

Property was just as described and pictured on site. Everything you need from kitchen appliances, and utensils, to bath and beach items are already waiting for you. Steps from the beach and located in a quiet subdivision of Fort Walton Beach, we felt like we had the beach to ourselves! Cleanliness upon arrival was a little subpar - items left under beds, tables, etc., also inside dressers, refrigerator had expired food left in it, but overall, it was nothing that kept us from thoroughly enjoying our stay. Highly recommend!

Amazing Trip

Such a great vacation! We had 4 adults and 4 kids (2 to 8 years of age), and the property was perfect for us! On the gulf with a beautiful beach and close to the local Ft. Morgan convenience stores (The Pines, Sassy Bass, etc.)! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great trip!

Location! Location! Location!

This house was wonderful for our family. We had 4 adults and 2 kids (1 and 3,) and we were all very comfortable. The house was super clean and well appointed. Without a doubt the best part of staying here was the location on the beach. Just walk down a flight of stairs from a beautiful deck and you are a few feet from the crystal clear water. No boardwalk, no long trek over the sand. They also had everything we needed for the beach; chairs, umbrella, sand toys for the kids and much much more. We really enjoyed our time here and highly, highly, recommend.

Great Beach House

We had a blast and the house is full of charm and character. Location on the beach was awesome, can't get much closer, which made it an easy trek to get the kids inside when needed. There was a power surge in the area early Sunday evening which caused the AC to shut down for a bit. Made a call to Stephen and he got his AC man on it right away. Even though the unit cycled and restarted on it's own, the AC man still came out just to make sure all was well. Great service on a Sunday evening! Very happy with our stay and fully recommend!

This property is incredible. From the thoughtful touches from the hosts... a bag of ice, kid's beach toys, and plenty of the everyday essentials... to the amazing practicality private beach experience, it's absolutely wonderful!! A week was not long enough!!!

Great place on the beach!

Such a great place. Had 3 adults and 2 kids, with plenty of room for more. Great location RIGHT on the beach, great house with two master br, very clean, had EVERYTHING you could need on vacation. Kitchen was fully equipped with anything you could need, even an ice cream maker! the kids loved. Also had everything you could need outside, beach stuff, sand toys, beach chairs, umbrellas, grill, everything. Owners even texted us after a bad storm to ensure everything was ok. Easily one of the best vacation rentals we've had.

Home away from home ☀️

I grew up coming to this property in the 90s with my parents. The new owners have done a fabulous job renovating it. We had trouble using the lock - messaged the owners and they responded immediately?!?! It was such a privilege watching my children play on the same beach I did as a child. I’m already ready to be back and we aren’t even home yet…

Amazing Beach House

Can’t say enough about this place and the owners! Extremely quick to respond. We had an issue with the dryer. After drying one load it quit working. Texted Ashley and within a few minutes responded . The next day they delivered a new dryer. Very clean and the best appointed beach house we have ever rented. We over packed expecting to need certain items that were always lacking in other rentals. We didn’t need to cause they had it all ! From a well stocked kitchen to beach toys, water floats and beach chairs! Just bring your clothes! They also had 2 grills to cook out on . Ample seating outside on the deck and under the house! The pictures are accurate but I think it’s much better in person. There were 10 of us and we never felt cramped. Had the best week, we didn’t want to leave! Will definitely book with the Thompson’s again!

What a great decision to rent this memory making property.

This was the perfect house for my family of 8. It was my husband and our 4 youngest kids (5,6,8,9), my oldest son and his girlfriend and we had the best time. We had great weather and got to see the Blue Angels practicing and a school of dolphins swimming. Many days of various birds and little crabs. Other than our cost of gas and food this week long vacation was very reasonable considering the location. I would definitely go back!

Fantastic Beach house Getaway

I took my family to this amazing house over the Mardi Gras break. All had an amazing time. The house is RIGHT on the water. Wife and I were able to work on the patio while our kids played in the water. Also very close to Gulf Shore (15 min from downtown) so we were able to come and go as we wanted. I highly recommend this location. The Hosts are great the location is amazing! 5 Stars!

Paradise

This was the first time our whole family got to get away together and it was for Thanksgiving. This place is beautiful and literally right on the beach. We enjoyed our stay so much and was impressed with the extras the owner provided such as moon pies, hot chocolate, popcorn , beach toys and beach chairs. There was even a pak n play in the closet. We had taken our own but was very thoughtful to provide. I would highly recommend for a great family getaway. Only a couple miles to Sassy Bass where the food is great and the coconut margaritas are awesome!! We thoroughly enjoyed the visit!!

Perfect little paradise

I really don’t have enough words for this little piece of paradise. It was absolutely perfect for our little family of 4. I was very skeptic about coming out here right after a hurricane but the house was in great shape and the owner answered my questions quickly. If i had to choose one negative thing to say about the place, it would be the shower pressure. But with everything else being so perfect, it made up for the weak showers lol. Beds/pillows were comfortable. Great amount of utensils. If you cook a lot like me, you’ll need to bring your own good pots/pans/crockpot... which i did. Shipt delivers groceries if you need. There were good amounts of cleaning supplies (dish soap, detergent, hand soaps and toilet paper) We spent every morning waking up to the sounds of the waves and every evening on the swing, watching our kids make beautiful memories in the sand. We can’t wait to come back and make more memories!!
